Dylan's POV:

"Sir, we need you to calm down" one of the nurses at the emergency room front desk says

"Where is she? I need to see her! Where is she?" I ask in a furious tone as I bang my hands against the desk

"Sir? Please calm down people are starting to worry. Come with me" I hear the doctor say as he comes out of a room

I got to the emergency and no one is telling me where Mia is. There are cops everywhere but no one is telling me what's happened.
I follow the doctor to a private room where there were a couple police officers in as well.

"Mr. Moore, please take a seat" the doctor says as he motions towards a chair

"What the hell has happen? Where's Mia? What's happened to her" I ask

"Sir, she has been in an accident. She was hit by another car while driving causing her car to spin and flip over a few times. She has suffered a sever injury to the head and is in surgery right now" the doctor says

I stay in shock while not knowing what to say. How the hell did This end up happening? How the hell can Mia just end up in life threatening surgery after talking to her moments before. I didn't know what to say. I just sat there as I felt anger rush up and boil up. The police and doctors continued talking on and on but I just sat there. Oblivious to what they were saying.
After a moment, I cut them off

"What are the risks?" I ask

"Well, since she hit her head very hard and was severely impacted, she will be in surgery for a few hours. We hope she will be fine but the risks are short term memory loss and or long term memory loss. She will also be asleep when she comes out but we hope she will stabilize and wake up." The doctor says

I don't say anything but just look down at my hands in my lap.

"Mr. Moore, we can assure you that we have the best surgeons and doctors on Mia's case and we are trying our best. We will have someone come and update you every so often." He says and gets up.

I walk over to the waiting room and sit in the chair feeling tears come to my eyes. What have I done? What the hell has happened. This is all my fault, if it wasn't for my temper and madness, this wouldn't have happened.

I was the one to blame for all of this
I hurt Mia
I hurt her

After I calmed myself down, I called Lexi and updated her with what's happened. She was in shock and rushed over with Jimin. After they arrived, I saw Nick come in as well.
We all sat in the waiting room. Waiting.

After what felt like forever, a doctor came out to inform me that Mia has been pulled out of surgery and is in her recovery room. As soon as he tells me what room she's in, I push him out of my way to go see her. I rush to the room and see a nurse writing on a chart in front of her room.

"How is she doing?" I ask the nurse

"The surgery went great. There were a few complications but everything went well. The only thing is to wait for her to wake up" the nurse says

"When is she going to?" I ask her

"Depending on how her body reacts to everything, it might take a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, months even years. We really don't know at this point and depends on how her body takes it" the nurse says

Weeks? Months? YEARS?
I push through the door and enter to see a sleeping Mia. She looked like she was peacefully sleeping. Her head was bandaged around it and she had a few dark circles around her eyes. I sit on the chair and hold her hand.
I rest my head beside her and close my eyes trying to push back the forming tears.

"You should try talking to her. She might hear you and it could help wake her up" I hear the doctor say as he approaches the bed

After he takes a look at her vitals and how she's doing, he records it down and leaves the room leaving just me and Mia. I take her lifeless hand back into my hand and give it a little squeeze

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry about everything. You deserve someone better, someone who won't hurt you like how I do." I say as I feel the tears slide down my face

I don't remember the last time I've cried, but seeing the person I love hurt because of me, hurts me too. This is all my fault and I can never forgive my self, ever... and I don't expect her to either.

"But you need to wake up Mia. Please, I know I've been nothing but an ass, I've only hurt you continuously. But I need you to wake up, you Have to wake up Mia. I love you" I say as I put my head back down on the bed next to her and continue holding her hand.
I hear the door open revealing Lexi, Jimin and Nick.

"Can w-wee s-ssee he-rr?" I hear Lexi ask with her face full of tears. I stand up leaving a kiss on Mia's forehead and go out the door to give them some privacy. I go into the hallway and dial my secretary at work. I tell her to bring me some clothes and other necessities because I'm going to be staying here with Mia.

Waiting, waiting for her to wake up.
