These past few days have been great working with Emanuel! He's such an amazing designer and I'm so lucky to be creating a collection with him. My baby bump has gotten biggggerr.
As I inch closer to my due date, I realize that my birthday is the same day as the bbq which is today! I totally forgot! How does someone forget their birthday?
After a long morning of basically doing nothing, I hear the doorbell ring and go to answer the door. Dylan left this morning to go get a few things and he had some business to do. So it's just been me and my little buddy all morning.
I open the door and see my mom and Dylan's mom at the door
"Hey you guys! It's so good to see you, come in!" I say giving them a hug
"Mia, my darling you look as beautiful as ever! How have you been?" Claire asks me
"I'm doing fine" I say with a smile
We walk into the living room and take a seat
"Congratulations to you and Dylan" my mom tells me
"Thanks mom" I answer
"Speaking of Dylan, where's my son" Claire asks
"He left this morning, he had some stuff to do" I say
"So you've been alone all day? Mia you can't be alone. Someone needs to be with you! What if your water breaks and you start to go into labour?" Claire starts to panic
I let out a little laugh at how dramatic she was being "Claire it's fine. I would just call an ambulance it's not that big of a deal and besides, Dylan has been very supportive and is always with me. He's been amazing help" I say with a smile
"I'm glad you two are back together and that things are working well for you too" my mom says
"I also love this house, it's amazing" my mom adds on
"I was just about to say! Lovely place" Claire says
I was about to say thank you when I hear the door open
"Oh I think Dylan's here" I get up and walk to the door to see Dylan along with Lexi and Jimin
"Look who I found" Dylan says
"Lexi!" I yell
"Mia!" She screams
I give her a huge hug and we don't let go for about 5 min! I swear, we're little children.
"Omg your baby bump is so big!" She says
"Haha thanks" I respond
The rest of the evening goes on with us talking and catching up with everyone else. Dylan and Jimin go out to the patio and start on the bbq while I get the refreshments ready and we head outside to the backyard. It was a sunny and beautiful day so it was nice to sit outside.
"Sooo, how did Dylan propose?" Lexi asks quite excited while we were all sitting at the dinner table
"Oh god, well it was actually right here in this house. We came to the open house and were looking around. Once we thought this was it, this was going to be our house, Dylan proposed. It was so sweet" I say while holding his hand. He was sitting next to me
"Awwww" everyone says
"I'm so happy for you two!" Lexi says
"So are you going to finally tell us what your going to be having? Will we have a grandson or granddaughter?" Claire asks
Dylan let's out a laugh "we're not sure ma. We're keeping it a surprise" he says
