"Hey"he said back
"So what's going on" he asked
"We talked it out and I'm going to give him another chance" I said sitting down
"You really think he's worth it" Brandon asked sitting next to me
"We've been together a long time so yeah I like to think everyone deserves a second chance" I replied
"As long as you're happy" he said with a smile
"Okay now I have to ask you something" I said
"Okay" he said with a confused look
"When I tried to kiss you the night Chad cheated on me you said "we've got time" what did you mean" I asked
"I didn't want you to do anything you would regret plus you weren't over Chad" he said with a shrug
"Okay.... well I hope this doesn't make things awkward between us like I hope you don't think I like you or anything" I said
"It's fine I know you don't and honestly I'm glad You're hardly my type" he said with a laugh
"Oh please I'm everyone's type you'd be lucky if I liked you" I said laughing
We both laughed then I said
"You know my whole life I never felt like anyone really cared for me then I meet you and I feel like we've been friends forever" I said looking at him
"Yeah I know the feeling" he said with a smile
"We have the best talks when we're here" he said
"We do" I replied
"This should be our safe spot nothing bad can happen here we're safe here just you and me" he said
"Deal" I said with a smile
I'm not sure what will happen but all I know is I need Brandon in my life.
