My head was throbbing, I felt terrible. I moved my head deeper onto the pillow in hopes to ease the pain.

Wait-- pillow?

My eyes opened quickly as I got up at the same time. I scanned the whole room and tried to remember what happened.

The challenges, right. I forgot, I had already won.

I sighed in relief and took a deep breath to calm myself down.

I took my time to look around me again. I was back in my own room, everything still looked the same as I've left it, as if there was nothing different. The only thing different here was me.

It was the moon goddess, the one who always appeared in my dreams. It was her who helped me to remember everything. Why I'm here, why I had to go through things that I had to.

'Chári, huh.' I whispered to my wolf.

'Yes, the moon goddess' warrior.' she reminded. I nodded.

Outside my window, I could see the tree branches swaying with the wind. I started wondering what happened after the battles, as I recall, I passed out after the pack members had recognized me as their Luna.

The amount of power I had used overwhelmed my body, I got tired too easily. It must've been because I haven't used my real strength in a long time. It will take a while for me to get used to it, but I know that everything will be fine.

I pushed the blanket away from my feet and stood up, I almost fell if I had not held onto the night table beside me. My feet were numb for a bit, but I stood up perfectly fine after that.

As I was walking to the bathroom, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. On the right side of my head, there was a strand of silver hair. It stood out amongst my dark brown hair, but it was a sign of the powers I possessed.

My usually dark grey eyes were now bright and clear.

Is this how I will look like now?

A familiar scent made its way to my nostrils and my head jerks towards the door and sure enough, it opened. Ian made his way in and as he saw that the bed was empty, his eyes quickly look for me. When he found me, he sighed relieved and walked towards me.

I smiled and met him in the middle.

"Hey you--" before I could say anything more, Ian had already kissed me, his arms lacing around my waist and pulled me closer towards him. Although I was surprised, it didn't take me too long before I responded.

Closing my eyes, I kissed him back.

He was worried, I could feel that through the mate bond, but he was starting to calm down. When we pulled away, I chose to rest my head on his chest for a bit as I hugged him back. I inhaled deeply, relishing in his scent that was so good.

Ian's scent will always be my favourite and I hoped that I was his.

"I thought you'd never wake up." he said, I heard a hint of fear in his voice. I chuckled and looked up to him.

"How long was I out?" I questioned.

"Three days." I pulled away and raised my eyebrow at him. Th-three days? That's awfully long! "Yeah, you've been sleeping for three days, everyone was worried."

I nodded and broke free from his hold, finding my way to my bed and sitting down on it. "And you?"

"Of course I was scared, you dummy."
