Jimin and Hoseok were about to go and check the room 15 when Jimin's phone rang loudly. He pulled it out and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Park Jimin?"
"Yes, it is and who are you?"
"I'm officer Eun. Officer Kim Namjoon is dead. And you're the last person who texted him. We need to investigate you. Can you come to the spot?"
Jimin froze.
"Please come quick, Mr. Park."
The line went dead.
With immense shock, Jimin just stood there; frozen. What? Namjoon was dead?
"Jimin, what happened? Who was it?" Hoseok asked.
Ignoring him, Jimin pulled his phone away from his ear with a shaking hand. He was so scared. His nails and fingers were tapping his phone screen harshly. But he somehow made it into his messages.
He checked thoroughly if he had sent anything to Namjoon. God, he didn't even have his number saved.
And he didn't send him any messages.
So how?
Suddenly a message arrived, popping on his notification.
Yoongi Lie to Hoseok and go to the police station without him
The air in Jimin's lungs shot out. He gulped hard, sweating.
"Jimin, are you okay? Who was that on the phone?" Hoseok asked.
Jimin blinked at him.
"Yeah yeah yeah I-I am okay. Just an international wrong number, I guess. Sounded a little creepy. I get that a lot from the number of sites I hack and shit. But anyways, who would call me this late?" he lied.
"Well, I think it is g—"
"Anyway, it's enough for today. Can we continue tomorrow? I'm so tired." Jimin cut him off.
"Of course. Be safe. Good night." Hoseok said before walking out the door.
Jimin dropped his phone and his knees gave out. He fell down the ground, gasping for air.
Namjoon was dead.
Oh my God.
He shoved his phone into his pocket and ran out. Alone.
