I thought I had a plan, and I thought that things would fall into a foreseen regimen. I was fully groomed into grasping the sweet pleasures that came along with being a dreamer, but my realistic self was equally loud. I never possessed the instinctive nature that would awaken me from the depths of my sleep and warn me about the submersion of my being into events that would permanently alter my life.

But when I finally perceived its exotic taste, it was transparent that experience was my best teacher- sometimes in the form of serendipity, other times as a perfect storm that I'd helplessly watch as it unraveled right before my very eyes.
