At night a grand feast was held for welcoming all the Princes of Hastinapoor, all were just starting to arrive. Amarsri arrived with Subhadra and Dusshala and soon Yuddhistir, Nakul and Sehdev arrived and all if them started talking. Arjun also came and greeted them.
“PRANIPAT SAKHI AVANTIKA.” Arjun said.
“PRANIPAT SAKHA ARJUN.” Amarsri replied.
“PRANIPAT YADAVKUMARI SUBHADRA.” He then greeted her. Subhadra also greeted him and whispered something to Amarsri’s ears.
“TUM DONO SAKHA-SAKHI KABSE ?” She asked confused.
“AAJ DOPEHER SE.” She replied.
“TOH UNSE MERE BAARE MAI BAAT KAROGI ?.” Subhadra said. Amarsri nodded assuring her.
“TOH DUSSHALA TUMHARA KANYAVAAS PURN HUA ?” Yuddhistir asks.
“HA MAINE SABHI KALAYE SIKH LI KEVAL SANGEET NAHI SIKH PAAYI.” Dusshala said.
“DUSSHALA, AMARSRI BAHUT SUNDAR VEENA BAJATI HAI.” Subhadra said.
“KYA SACH ? HUME BHI KUCH SUNAYIYE NA RAJKUMARI.” Dusshala requested.
“ KINTU ISS SAMAYE ? NAHI KABHI BAAD MAI SUNA DUNGI.” Amarsri said.
“BHRATA ARJUN KO BHI AATA HAI, AAP DONO SAATH MAI BAJAYIYE.” Nakul said.
“HA DONO BAJAYIYE NA, ABHI TOH PITASHEE BHI NAHI AAYE.” Dusshala requested.
“AGAR SAKHI BAJAYEGI TOH.” Arjun said, Amarsri sighed agreeing.
They both sat in front of each other with Veena and started playing it beautifully. There coordination together was mind-blowing. Duryodhan and Karna also came just in time to witness it. Arjun and Amarsri beautifully ended their tune and high-fived.
Everyone started clapping for them, Duryodhan started clapping dramatically he took one of his necklace and threw it at Arjun. Amarsri sensed what was going on Duryodhan's mind but she couldn’t let her sakha be humiliated like so.
“ARJUN TUM AISE KARYA KARKE HUMARE KURUYO KE KUL KO KALANKIT KAR RAHE HO.” Duryodhan said arrogantly.
“RAJKUMAR DURYODHAN, KYA YEH SATYA HAI KI APSARA URVASHI NE MAHARAJ PURURAVAS SE VIVAH KIYA THA AUR AAP USI KE VANSHAJ HAI ?” Amarsri asked him.
“YEH SATYA HAI RAJKUMARI.” Duryodhan said proudly.
“APSARA URVASHI TOH APNE NRITYA AUR SANGEET KE LIYE JANI JATI HAI, USS HISAB SE AAP KE KUL KI NEEV HI NRITYA AUR SANGEET HAI. TOH RAJKUMAR ARJUN KUL KALANK KAISE HUYE ? KUL KALANK TOH WOH HUA JO ISS KALAYO KA APMAAN KARE.” Amarsri said silencing Duryodhan.
“RAJKUMARI EK YODHA KO SANGEET AUR NRITYA SHOBHA NAHI DETA, AUR ARJUN EK DHANURDHARI HAI, USKE LIYE KEVAL PRATYANCHA KI DANKAR HI SANGEET HONI CHAHIYE.” Karna tried to argue.
“ISS KALA KO SHASHTRA KALA SE KAM MAT SAMAJHIYE ANGRAJ, MAHADEV KA NATRAJ SWAROOP AGAR JEEVAN DETA HAI, TOH RAUDRA TANDAV JEEVAN LETA HAI. WAISE BHI NRITYA AUR SANGEET SE MANUSHYA KI BUDDHI STHIR REHTI HAI, AUR YUDH BHOOMI MAI STHIR BUDDHI KA MANUSHYA HI TIKTA HAI.” Amarsri said, Karna got quite, her words had a point but how could Karna support Arjun in front of Duryodhan.
“BAJAYIYE RAJKUMAR, BALAO KE LIYE VADAK TOH BAN HI GAYE HAI EK DIN NARTAK BHI BAN JAYENGE.” Karna said making Arjun's blood boil in anger. He was about to his dagger out but Amarsri held his hand stopping him. He looked at her confused, she pointed towards the entrance, Arjun saw Maharaj and Maharani along with Pitamah Bhism and Vidur coming towards them, he understood what she meant. He lowered his hand.
“ANGRAJ AUR RAJKUMAR DURYODHAN AAPKO AISE KISE KE KALA KA UPMAAN NAHI UDANA CHAHIYE.” Bhism said coming towards them.
“UPMAN NAHI THA MAHAMAHIM, KEVAL CHOTA SA UPHAAS THA.” Gandhar Raj Shakuni said trying to calm the situation.
“YEH KAISA UPHAAS THA ? KISI KO HASI TOH NAHI AAYI GANDHAR RAJ ?” Amarsri said, this time she is not going to let him divert the topic with his words.
“MAHARAJ DHRITRASHTRA KYA HASTINAPOOR MAI KALA KA YEH STHAN HAI, KALA KA AISA APMAAN MUJHE APNE APMAAN KE SAMAN LAGTA HAI.” Amarsri said, Dhritrashtra gulped, insult of Amarsri meant insult of Avanti and Dwarika, which meant both the kingdoms can wage war against Hastinapoor and Hastinapoor wouldn’t stand a chance against Avanti, let alone Avanti and Dwarika combined.
“RAJKUMARI KA APMAAN RAJYA KA APMAAN HOTA HAI, RAJKUMAR DURYODHAN AUR ANGRAJ KARNA KRIPIYA RAJKUMARI SE KSHAMA MANGE.” Vidur said.
“MAI KSHAMA NAHI DE SAKTI, KYUKI APMAAN MERE SAATH RAJKUMAR ARJUN KA BHI HUA HAI, AGAR YEH KSHAMA KARDE TOH MAI BHI KARDUNGI.” Amarsri said, Arjun looked at her, understanding her plan.
“DURYODHAN AUR ANGRAJ, DONO ARJUN SE KSHAMA MANGE.” Dhritrashtra said hesitantly. Duryodhan and Karna both became embarrassed, the plan to insult Arjun didn’t go the way they wanted. Karna also felt bad that he accidentally insulted Amarsri, the one who saved his life this morning.
“HUME KSHAMA KARDE RAJKUMAR ARJUN.” Both said at the same time.
“MAI AAP DONO KO KSHAMA KARTA HU.” Arjun said trying hard not to laugh, oh how thankful he was that he befriended Amarsri.
“HUM RAJKUMARI AVANTIKA SE BHI KSHAMA MAANGTE HAI.” They both said to Amarsri.
“KSHAMA KIYA. KEVAL EK BAAR.” She said also trying hard not to laugh. Oh what Duryodhan planned.
They both then stomped out of there, Dushashan and Shakuni also followed them. Amarsri and Arjun chuckled.
“DHANYAWAAD, SAKHI.” He said.
“MITRATA KI HAI TOH NIBHANI TOH PADEGI, SAKHA” She said.
The rest of the feast went peacefully thanks to the people who stomped out of there.
After the feast ended, Amarsri was going towards her room but Karna stopped her.
“RAJKUMARI AMARSRI MUJHE KSHAMA KAR DIJIYE.” Karna apologized joining his hands.
“MAINE TOH AAPKO PEHLE HI KSHAMA KARDIYA ANGRAJ. TEHELNE CHALENGE ?” She asked smiling. Karna agreed as he wanted to know her more, for some reason she intrigued him.
“WAISE ANGRAJ, AAPKO SAKHA ARJUN SE ITNI SHATRUTA KYU HAI ?” Amarsri asked.
“JAB MAI AAPKI UMAR KA THA TOH GURU DRONACHARYA NE MUJHE SHASHTRA VIDHYA SIKHANE SE MANA KARDIYE KYUKI MAI SUT THA AUR EKLAVYA KA BHI ANGOOTHA LE LIYA GURU DAKSHINA MAI, USI GURU DRONACHARYA KA WOH PASANDITA SHISHYA HAI. KSHATRIYA AUR RAJKUMAR HONE KE KARAN USKA JEEVAN SARAL RAHA, ACCHI VIDYA, LOG JO USKA PARAKRAM DEKHKE USKI JAI-JAI KAAR KARE. AUR TOH AUR GURU DRONACHARYA NE USE SANSAAR KA SARVASHRESHT DHANURDHARI BHI GHOSHIT KARDIYA. ISI KARAN HUM DONO MAI SHATRUTA HAI.” Karna told her the truth.
“KINTU ISME SAKHA ARJUN KI KYA GALTI HAI ?” Amarsri asked, Karna looked at her.
“AAPNE JO YEH BAAT KAHI HAI USME TOH SAKHA ARJUN KA TOH KOI DOSH HI NAHI HAI. AGAR WOH GURU DRONACHARYA KE PASANDITA SHISHYA HAI, TOH USME UNKI KYA GALTI ? GURU DRONACHARYA NE EKLAVYA KA ANGOOTHA KATA ISME UNKI KYA GALTI HAI ? KATA TOH GURU DRONACHARYA NE THA, ISS BAAT KA APSOS SAKHA ARJUN KO AAJ TAK HAI. RAJKUL MAI JANM LIYA ISME UNKI KYA GALTI HAI ? GURU DRONACHARYA NE UNHE SARVASHRESHT GHOSHIT KARDIYA USME SAKHA KI KYA GALTI ? AUR AAP DONO KE BICH SIRF EK DISHA SE SHATRUTA HAI, AAPKE DISHA SE. UNHONE TOH AAPKO KUCH BOLA BHI NAHI, SIRF AAPNE HI TOH UNHE KADVE SHABD BOLE HAI SHURUWAT SE, ISS KARAN WOH BHI AAPKO KUCH BOL DETE HAI, LEKIN SHURU HAMESHA AAP KARTE HAI ANGRAJ, AAJ HI KA UDHARAN DEKHIYE, AAP AUR RAJKUMAR DURYODHAN AAYE THE UNKA UPHAAS UDANE, SAKHA NE TOH KUCH KIYA BHI NAHI THA.” Amarsri said, Karna fell into deep thinking.
“MERE SHABDO PE VICHAAR KIJIYEGA ANGRAJ, SHUBH RAATRI.” She said and left.
Karna fell into deep thinking, maybe she was right, he thought Arjun to be the reason for all his miseries but in truth nothing was Arjun’s fault.
