It's the 15th day of war and the Kaunteys had one goal in mind, to kill Dronacharya the only Maharathi in their way to victory. Guru Dronacharya had converted the punya of his life into a kavach, when a spy told him about Kaunteys planning to kill Ashwathama. The kavach made him almost invincible.
Currently in the battlefield, Bheem threw his mace at Dronacharya but he didn't even flinch because of his Kavach.
"TUM AGAR MERE PUTRA KA VADH KAROGE BHEEM TOH MAI TUMHARE BHAIYO AUR PUTRO KA VADH KAR DUNGA !! MAI WAISA HI VIDHWANSH MACHA DUNGA JAISA NARAYAN NE HARIHARESHWARI KE VYOGH MAI MACHAYA THA !!" Dronacharya yelled.
"ASHWATHAMA KI MRITYU HOKE RAHEGI, GURUDEV. AAP KUCH NAHI KAR PAYENGE !!" Bheem roared.
Dronacharya angrily shot an arrow at him but his arrow was stopped by Drupad's arrow.
"DRON !! MITRATA AUR SAMBANDHO KI HATHYA KI HAI TUMNE. APNE PUTRI SAMAAN KANYA KE APRADHI BANE TUM !! RAKSHA KARO APNI, MERE SAATH YUDH KARO !!!" Drupad roared.
"MAI APNE HATHO SE TUMHARA VADH NAHI KARNA CHAHTA MITRA." Dronacharya said.
"TOH MERE SAATH DWAND KIJIYE GURUDEV, MERA TOH JANM HI AAPKE MRIYU KE LIYE HUYA HAI. AAPKA VADH HI MERA LAKSH HAI" Dhrishtdyumn said.
"TUMHARA LAKSH TABHI PURA NAHI HOGA PUTRA, JAB MAI SWAYAM APNE SHASHTRO KA TYAAG KARDUNGA. AUR GURU DRON KE KISI SHISHYA MAI ITNA SAMARTHYA NAHI JO GURU DRON SE UNKE SHASHTRO KA TYAAG KARWA SAKE." Dron said.
"SHASTRA TYAAG KARNE KI KYA AWASHYAKTA HAI DRON ? PREM, SAMMAN AUR DHARM TOH TUM PEHLE SE HI TYAAG CHUKE HO. TUMNE MERE GURU TATHA APNE PITA RISHI BHARADWAJ PAR LALCHAN LAGAYA HA ! YUDH KARO DRON !!" Drupad challenged.
They both got down their rath with spears and engaged in an immense duel with eachother. Which ended in a tragic way with Dron penetrating Drupad's body with the spear. Dron looked at Drupad with teared eyes, realizing what he had done, before Drupad could fall on the ground Dron caught him.
"KSHAMA KARNA MITRA." Dron said placing him on the ground, as Drupad took his last breath.
This devastating news was given to the Kaunteyas by Prativindhya, who were inside there vyuh.
"AB GURU DRON KO ASHWATHAMA KI MRITYU KA MITHYA SAMACHAR PAHUCHANA HI PADEGA." Amarsri said.
"KINTU KYA WOH YEH SAMACHAR MANENGE ?" Nakul asked.
"AGAR BHRATA YUDDHISTIR KAHENGE TOH AWASHYA MANENGE." Amarsri said.
"MAI ASATYA NAHI KAHUNGA, JAB ASHWATHAMA KI MRITYU SACH MAI HOGI MAI TAB JAAKE BATAYUNGA." Yuddhistir said making everyone sigh.
"TOH AB NIRDOSH ASHWATHAMA KA VADH KARNA PADEGA." Krishna said. Understanding what he meant, Bheem and Yuddhistir left towards east.
Here Dhrishtadyumn was angrily fighting with Dronacharya, but his efforts bore no fruit. But Dron on the other hand managed to pot two cuts on his arms. Dron got the upperhand and was about to kill Dhrishtadyumn but his sword was thrown off by the arrow of Arjun.
"SENAPATI DHRISHTADYUMN, AAP MAHARAJ DRUPAD KE SHARIR KO SHIVIR MAI LE JAYIYE. GURU DRON AAJ APNE SABSE PRIYE SHISHYA KE SAATH DWAND KARENGE." Arjun said, and Dron looked at him.
"DHANUSH UTHAYIYE GURU DRON !!!" Arjun roared. Dhrishtadyumn left with Drupad's body.
Arjun and Dron engaged in a fierce battle when suddenly Abhimanyu came out of nowhere.
"PITASHREE AAP GURU DRON KO VYASTH RAKHIYE, TATSHREE BHEEM NE ASHWATHAMA PAR AKRAMAN KIYA HAI." Abhimanyu informed and left.
"SAARTHI, RATH SHIGREH HI ASHWATHAMA KI OOR LE CHALO." Dron said worriedly.
