"We'll go into town in a bit to hand over these clothes, and then we'll do some shopping and so that we can spend the holiday together tomorrow." Su Tang told Su Nuo to sit down and eat quickly because she saw that it was still early enough in the day for them to go into town and come back if they hurried.

Since the clothes were ready, Su Tang really didn't want to keep them in her hands. Tomorrow was the Mid-Autumn Festival so she had to quickly hand over the clothes so that she would have some money in her hands, and there wouldn't be any risk of anything going wrong at the last minute. Once she could rest assured about the money, she could feel at ease to celebrate the festival at home with her brother tomorrow.

Su Nuo was overjoyed when he heard that his sister say that she would take him outside so, after they both had enough to eat, they immediately set off for Qinghe Town.

When she saw Su Tang walk into her store, Mrs. Wang was very relieved.

"Miss Tang, you're finally here." She exclaimed.

When she saw the shopkeeper like this, Su Tang asked, "Has the client already arrived?"

When Su Tang had come to town to deliver her fish balls this morning, she had told Mrs. Wang that she would be able to bring her the finished clothes in the afternoon, and had asked her to make an appointment with a client.

Since Mrs. Wang seemed so stressed even though she had only just arrived, Su Tang guessed that maybe the customer had already arrived before her and had been waiting for a while.

Sure enough, Mrs. Wang nodded. "After you left this morning, I went to tell the young master what you told me. Brother Pengmo arrived an hour ago and he's been waiting here for you ever since Miss Tang. Have you really finished making the clothes?"

When Su Tang heard her ask that question, she patted the basket on her back and said confidently, "Of course!"

When Mrs. Wang heard her say that the job was done while looking so confident, she couldn't help but leak a smile. After all, if Su Tang handed those clothes over today, then she would make two taels of silver, so of course she was very happy.

"Good, good. Come inside first, I'll get you a tray. Just put the clothes on the tray and deliver the clothes on it later." Said Mrs. Wang.

She took a look and saw that the white satin had been turned into a simple robe that had a fine blue embroidery pattern stitched into it. Mrs. Wang knew after a single glance that she would definitely be able to earn money this time.

"Miss Tang, your craftsmanship is really good. I've never seen this kind of embroidery before." "I saw a dogwood flower the other day and I thought that it was very beautiful. Then, when I was thinking of a pattern with flowers, I remembered that dogwood and drew it from memory." Su Tang said, without hiding the basis for the pattern at all.

Mrs. Wang nodded, "It's a really novel idea. But it's a pity that your embroidery..." She didn't finish, but she didn't really need to. The pattern was indeed novel, but the embroidery was of middling quality at best. Mrs. Wang privately thought that some of the embroiderers she employed could have done better if they had the pattern.

Of course, Su Tang knew that her embroidery skills were definitely not as good as the skills of people who did embroidery for a living. At best, she could say that she knew how to embroider a bit.

So she could naturally hear the meaning behind Mrs. Wang's unfinished words, but she did not get angry. Instead, she just said, "Anyway, let's deliver the clothes now. We don't want to keep the customer waiting."

Half-way through her words, Mrs. Wang had suddenly realized she might offend the little girl who she wanted to keep working with, so she had pulled back. Then, when she heard Su Tang continuing with the transaction as if nothing had happened, she nodded and agreed happily.

With that, Mrs. Wang took the lead toward the inner room. Su Tang followed behind her with the tray in her arms, while Su Nuo trailed after both of them. They all entered the inner room one after another and Su Tang wasn't surprised to see Pengmo waiting for them alone after she stepped inside.

When he saw them coming, he stood up and said, "Miss Tang!"

"Brother Pengmo!" Seeing Pengmo for the second time, Su Tang smiled and said hello. Then she handed the clothes in her hands over to the young man.
