A few hours had passed and there wasn't a sign of Kaz anywhere, it was nearing 5 o'clock, Cassie walked into the Training room and spotted Oliver. "Hey, Oliver have you seen Kaz anywhere, i don't think he followed us after the comic shop."

"No, i thought he was hanging out with you??" OLiver saw Cassie shaking her head 'no'.

"Hmm, i don't have a good feeling about this."

Then the comic book writer, as Cassie put it, walked into the room, with Tecton shortly behind him, "have you guys seen kaz?"

they both claimed that they hadn't, making Cassie's fears grow. "Is there any chance you can draw a picture of where he old be? He's been MIA all afternoon and I'm getting worried."

Ambrose agreed and started sketching where he saw Kaz. When the drawing was done, Cassie unintentionally snatched it from the table. Frantically looking for clues as to where he could be. "That's the national bank in the background." Tecton noted, "i had a horrible fight there the other work. Between me and my ex girl friend. She was all like, you have superhero hearing and yet you never listen."

"Can you take us there?" Cassie asked.

"Sure."

When they got outside the city building, Cassie scanned the building, desperately trying to identify Kaz's heat signature. Then she locked it, the 30th floor, room 5. "Hold on guys." Tecton and Oliver touched Cassie's shoulder, their cold hands made shiver run down her spine. Ignoring it, Cassie concentrated on expanding her powers to the others and opened up a hole, the familiar lilacs and blues covered them.
Oliver looked around him, utterly speechless by the stars and space around him, but as soon as he saw it it disappeared. He was treated by the concrete, magnolia painted walls of an office space.

Before Cassie could react to the state of kaz in the chair she was plunged into a fight with the lackeys. "Oliver get Kaz, Tecton and I have this covered." Oliver ran over to the machine that was connected to Kaz's brain and started figuring out how to release him.

Cassie frosted her hand, snowflakes flew around her hand. "Thats a neat little trick you've got there, but a little ice cube won't effect me." The short lackey hissed, his long tongue protruding out of his mouth. As it flicked towards her, Cassie grappled it with her blue hand, the cold spread onto his tongue than to the rest of his body. He was stuck in place.

"Talk about a snake, ammirtie?" Cassie glimpsed over at Oliver who was still figuring out the machine. She ran over, "why isn't he out of it yet?"

"They've gone deep int his unconscious, I've had to figure out how to get him out safely so his brain does crumble as his unconscious and conscious merge to one."

"Ah, okay, I can see why that might take a bit longer."

Oliver pressed one of the buttons, "go get him."

Cassie ran over, ripping off the silver headband and helping him to his feet, "hey, kaz its me, are you alright?"

"Cas? Why did you wake me up i was having the best dream. I had the head of an eagle, i was riding an eagle and i was the quarterback for the Philadelphia eagles."

"Hey Cas, thank you so much for saving my life. Oh no problem, Kaz, after all its what you've been training me to do. Well i am a good teacher. If you insist."

"Did they put you in the brain machine too??"

Cassie closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "never mind, im glad you're okay."
