My heart skipped a beat as I re-read the words. So he does want to see me. I looked at the clock and it was only 9. I had two hours to kill and I started to feel restless. I decided to take a shower and headed for the bathroom.

Once I was done, I started wondering what I should wear. I was never one to pay much attention to how I dressed but I was seeing him after a week. I wanted to look good. I finally decided on wearing a cream coloured puffed-sleeved shirt and a brown plaid skirt that fell slightly below my knees. I spent the rest of the time fidgeting around the room nervously. It was finally 11'o clock and the lights of the dormitory went out. It was time to go.

I quietly locked the door and left the building, trying my best not to make a sound. It was a full moon night, and I could feel my hearting beating faster with every step I took towards the lake. I walked past the trees and came out to the clearing. The lake came into view, and I made my way to the spot where Levi and I sat the other day.

As I neared the spot, I saw him sitting beside the same tree. His eyes were fixed on the sky but I knew he had heard me coming. Without saying a word, he tapped on the ground on his right side, indicating me to sit. His gaze never left the sky. I listened and sat down quietly. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, with its sleeves folded to his elbows and a pair of black trousers. I thought he had never looked more handsome. My heart started to beat even faster and I was scared that Levi would hear it.

"You have some nerve to call me here at night after the way you ignored me back there.", I finally spoke in an attempt to hide the sound of my beating heart that was getting louder every second.

He turned his gaze towards me, his stoic grey eyes boring into my soul. How much I missed them. "I didn't want Erwin to get any hints about us.", he replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

Us.

"I see. And what exactly about us?" I asked acting innocent to see what he would say.

"You know, about how I almost took advantage of his little sister.", he came in close and whispered in my ear, almost making me jump. And there it was, his smirk that I could never get over.

"Still thinking about that huh?", I teased him.

"Tch."

We both fell silent for the next couple of minutes. "So, um, how was it down there? Was it hard to go back?", I asked breaking the silence but keeping my gaze fixed on the ground.

"It was fine. It's my job. I've learnt not to let these things bother me.", he replied, and I felt relieved.

"...which reminds me", he continued, "I've got something for you. I bought it from one of the stalls when I was inspecting the place." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a bracelet. It was silver in colour with a crescent shaped moon and two stars on its either side. It was simple yet beautiful. He bought it for me?

"I'd understand if you don't want to wear it since it's quite cheap...", before he could finish, I stretched out my arm. He looked at me in surprise, but I smiled and gave him a nod.

He opened the bracelet and tied it around my wrist. I admired it for several seconds and finally said, "It's beautiful, Levi. Thank you." I didn't care if it was cheap. I didn't care that it was from the underground. All I cared about was that Levi had got it for me.

He finally smiled. "My mother had one like that. She would always wear it. When I saw it, it reminded me of her. Thought you might like it."

Without thinking I leaned in and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I love it.", I said. He was a bit nonplussed by my reaction. I chuckled and he ruffled my hair. "Hey!", I yelled fixing the strands.

We continued to watch the stars in silence. "I missed this view.", he said, and I realized how spending even a week in the underground would make one appreciative of things up here.

"Is that all you missed?", I looked at him and asked playfully.

He finally tore his gaze away from the sky and looked at me. I felt a blush on my cheek.

"I missed the cleanliness."

I almost laughed. "And?", I pressed leaning in.

He turned his body towards me and came closer. As an instinctive reaction I leaned back. The look in his eyes was intimidating. He kept coming closer and stopped when my back hit the ground.

"And tea.", he said and continued to look into my eyes.

"And?", I asked quietly this time.

His right elbow was pressed on the ground. With a swift movement, he brought his left hand and placed it next to my right arm, trapping me.

"And my squad.", he replied leaning in closer.

My heart was beating fast. My body was getting warm and I felt dizzy. "And?", I barely whispered.

He brushed his lips against my cheek, and whispered in my ear, "And titans."

I heard him chuckle as he leaned away. But I grabbed his collar and pulled him down, pressing my lips against his. He was startled at first but gave in almost immediately. He kissed me back, hungrily exploring my mouth with fervour. He bit my lower lip, and I gave out a low moan. We continued to kiss, our tongues intertwined, moving in unison.

He finally pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine. Then he lifted his head and laid it on my chest. I stroked his hair gently with my fingers. Neither of us spoke for several minutes and I felt myself drifting off to sleep.

"Oi. Don't sleep here, idiot. I can't carry you every time.", Levi spoke, pulling me back from my sleep.

So, he did carry me back to my room that night.

We finally made our way back to the dorms. Once we were back, Levi walked me to my room. I didn't want him to leave yet. As I opened the door, I turned around and asked him, "Do you want to stay over tonight?"

He nodded and I opened the door for him. He entered the room and looked around. He went to my desk and brushed his finger under it. "Tch.", he showed me his finger which was covered in dust. I rolled my eyes at him "Fine, I'll clean it tomorrow."

I walked over to him and grabbed his hand. I walked him to my bed. I sat down and pulled him next to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and started kissing it. He pinned me to the bed and pressed his lips against mine. After kissing me for a few seconds, he reluctantly pulled away.

"Why did you stop?", I asked.

"Y/N, I don't want to rush you into anything you're not ready for.", he replied softly.

I wasn't expecting him to say that. It was true that I was falling for Levi but I didn't know how serious this was. Besides, the last time we were together, we had only kissed. Maybe we shouldn't rush it.

"Okay.", I said, and he smiled at me. He kissed my forehead and lay down next to me. I turned to face him and placed my hand on his cheek. I continued to look at his beautiful eyes.

"What?", he asked.

"I really like your eyes."

He pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around me. I buried my head in his chest and drifted off to sleep.
