[Shivaay - S, Gauri - G, Rudra - Ru]

Next morning Rudra and Priyanka returned from their trip and rudra threw a fit. He refused to talk to shivaay and didn't even eat because shivaay had made that food. Shivaay was pained with his brothers being mad at him. They were his lifeline and now they wouldn't even look at him.

Rudra was playing games on his playstation in his room

Shivaay didn't realize when he had started crying

S: i'm being blackmailed, if i don't do as i'm told, our family, our business it will all be destroyed

S: You know Rupali was my classmate in college. She has been obsessed with me since then. She tried to be with me many times but I always respectfully refused. When I started dating Mallika, she backed out. After college she went to the US, I thought this chapter was over. No one had heard from her in years. She was working in her dad's New York branch. A year ago she came back to India, permanently since Mr Saxena closed that branch. Rupali and I met at a party. She was dating someone and I was seeing kiara. But when I called off my wedding with Kiara, she broke up with her boyfriend to try her chances with me again. She contacted me but I told her I wasn't interested. Somehow she found out about me and Annika. In December when I was in London and we got the house repainted, she paid some guy to install secret cameras in the house. She is always watching me. After I got back from London, she called me one day to meet her at a restaurant. I decided to end her chapter for once and all but I had run out of luck. She has certain documents that she has threatened to leak if I don't do as she says.

Priyanka: What is in those documents bhaiyya that you need to do this?

S: Years ago when dad and bade papa started Oberoi industries, they didn't have a lot of funds, the insurance money from Kalyani mills was all they had. So they did a few deals to make some quick money, which were in the legal grey area. Once Oberoi industries started picking up, they rectified everything, broke ties with those partners and paid all their dues. Not many people knew about it. All paperwork was destroyed, or so they thought. An old employee still had one document. Somehow Rupali found that document and she's threatening to go public with that.

Om: but if dad and chote papa rectified everything then why are we worried?

S: Om, it will ruin our reputation, our stock prices will crash. And because of that the board members will vote against us. We will lose our company, our money and no one will do business with us after that

G: But bro, many people must have made such deals, why will it be such a big deal?

S: That's true gauri, a lot of people have done business like that, they still do. The biggest issue is that all other documents of those deals have been destroyed years ago. So if she leaks this, we don't have any proof to show that we rectified everything or that it wasn't illegal. For the world, we might as well be involved in all sorts of illegal businesses even now. It takes years to build trust, credibility and reputation in this world but just a moment to destroy it

All of them looked worried as shivaay continued

S: I was enraged but I had to deal very patiently and smartly with her. I was under a lot of stress. I hired a private investigator to spy on Rupali. Her finding this document was dumb luck, can you belive it

Ru: how did she get her hands on it?

S: That employee, who had this file, retired a long time ago and his son lost all his money due to his gambling addiction. Their house was auctioned by the bank along with all the belongings. Rupali had bought that house and she found that file in a box in the store room. She kidnapped the employee's son and forced him to tell everything about that shady deal on camera. Both of them are dead now. We haven't been able to find any proof that she killed them.

Om: so we'll look for more proof

S: After a lot of investigation, we still haven't been able to find any proof against her. I met her several times and tried to talk her out of it. My only option was to say yes.

G: So if you marry her, she'll give you the documents and the video?

Ru: you can get divorced after getting the proofs bhaiyya

S: No, she's smarter than that. To make sure that I don't divorce her right away, she has made a contract. She'll give me the proof a year after marriage. I cannot apply for divorce before 5 years, otherwise she will pin those murders on our family. It is an elaborate contract with a lot of conditions - i can't cheat on her, we must share a room and so on.
