[Shivaay - S, Annika - A, Rudra - Ru, Gauri - G]

The oberois returned home, after hours, completely exhausted. Too tired to talk about anything, dejected, shocked, everyone returned to their respective rooms.

S: Khanna, did you take care of the cameras?

Khanna: yes sir, while you were all there, I got my team to check each and every room. We have handed over the cameras to the police

S: Good, finally it's over

There was one more thing Shivaay needed to do right away. He ran to be with his love. He knocked her door, getting no response, he went in. She was asleep.

Going closer, shivaay sat near her. He gently caressed her hair

S(in his mind): At last we can be together Annika. I'm going to make sure I never hurt you again my love

The next morning, breakfast was a quiet event. The youngsters took care of everything, they cancelled all the vendors and informed all the guests. Shivaay gave a statement to the press as well.

He went over to Annika's room. She was packing. He hugged her from behind

S: It's over Annika, we did it. All because of you, i'm so lucky to have you in my life

A: leave me shivaay

S: what happened?

Shivaay was confused with Annika's cold behavior, her neutral expression

A: What's going on in your mind, shivaay?

S: I know I have hurt you Annika, and I'm really sorry about it. But you know what mess I was in. And it's not an excuse, i promise i will make it up to you

A: Yes shivaay, I know you were in a crazy situation. I understand why you had to do this. I understand you panicked and went into autopilot mode and thought breaking up was the only solution. But how is that fair to me? You didn't even trust me enough to share your problem

S: Annika, it's not about trust, it never was. She was tapping my phone, i couldn't tell you anything

A: Shivaay, we live in the 21st century, there are so many ways to contact someone. People show their true nature in times of crisis. And that's what you did. Once again you thought you're the only one who can save this family. Why was I sacrificed in your battle? Did I not have the right to know the truth? Do you not consider me a part of your family?

S: Annika, love, please listen to me. You know I'm like that, you've known that right from the start. I understand this now, I'll change. I promise i won't hide anything from you

Annika was falling apart, all the emotions she had locked inside her front the last 2 weeks were now bubbling over. Shivaay could feel her pain in his bones. He tried to comfort her but she pushed him away. His heart was breaking seeing her so vulnerable

A: It's not just what you did shivaay, it's how you did it.  Okay, fine you decided to break up but you didn't have to be so cruel. You.. You used all of my insecurities against me. You think i don't know the value of family, shivaay i have lost more than you can fathom. Do you have any idea what it's like growing up without parents? My grandparents did their best to raise me in a loving environment but I was still the kid without parents. Our.. our lifestyles have always been different, you knew that before we started dating. I told you we're poles apart, you were the one to convince me to give us a shot. Just because I live life on my own terms and like to have adventures doesn't mean I don't think about consequences. And.. and the worst part, you said you cheated on me, when you knew exactly what that would do to me. Shivaay it was not easy for me to trust anyone, especially in a long distance relationship. I kept all my negative thoughts to myself, I gave you space.
