Two months later

Mumbai

Shivaay stood outside the courtroom. The verdict was finally out, Rupali was sentenced to prison for 10 years. It was a tough fight, but Shivaay had the support of the best lawyers and police team.

S: Thank you so much Kiara, Sidharth did a tremendous job. I was doubtful at first but you were absolutely right about him

Kiara: Shivaay, he won my heart, there was no way he would lose a case, especially one with so much evidence

S: Wait, back up, he won your heart? Are you guys dating?

Kiara: well technically no, he proposed to me a while ago, so he's my fiance now

S: wow, how did this happen?

Kiara: After you called off our wedding, I was in delhi for a case when I met him. He is a brilliant criminal lawyer, and I asked him to join our firm. One thing led to another and we started liking each other. I didn't even realise when I fell for him. I have never been happier shivaay, i am glad you found Annika or I wouldn't have found Sidharth

The last two months have been very turbulent for the oberois. The entire mess with Rupali brought a lot of unwanted media attention to the family. Mr Saxena was also not easy to deal with. Even after Rupali admitted to all the crimes that evening, he couldn't see his only child go to prison. He got her the best defence lawyers he could get, he made false accusations on shivaay and his family and even tried to sabotage their business.

Shivaay fought through all this and came out victorious. He made sure none of this affected their stock prices and business deals, no matter how hard anyone tried.

His personal life was a different story altogether. After Annika left, some switch inside him flipped. Instead of moping around like the last time or lashing out at the world like he usually did, he found new resolve. He started sharing his problems with his brothers more often. Instead of handling all the business related issues alone, he discussed his plans more with Shakti and Tej. He no longer kept his worries to himself, all because he wanted to change for her.

A few good things also happened in these 2 months. Aryan and Priyanka started seeing each other. They were going pretty strong. Gauri and Om had finally decided to get married before the end of this year. And Rudra joined the business and was currently training under his father.

A triumphant shivaay came home and gathered his family in the hall

S: This battle is finally over

Pinky: Thank gods, we can finally live in peace now.

S: Dad, bade papa, I need something from you

S: I need some time off from work.
