They walked along the pathway when they almost reach Byeol's house. There weren't that many people as it was quite late already, Ni-ki and Byeol walked side by side and he made sure to lessen the silence by craking some lame jokes on the way. But soon, that lame jokes turned into some sincere words which was enough to make byeol fluster over and over again.
It was not a new thing for ni-ki to say those words, but it was just hard for byeol to get used to them. "your hand looks so tiny and cute next to mine" he giggled after he interlocked his hands with her. She laughed along with him.
And when the latter looked at her smiley face, he just melted into them. "you don't know how much I adore you byeol" who will catch him when he falls deeper and deeper in her eyes?
She blinked her eyes before turning to his side and said, "ni-ki, there's something in your hair"
"oh really?"
she reached for his head and he also bend down a little for her to get it easier. But instead of touching his hair anymore, she tip-toed and quickly pecked his cheeks making him flustered.
Ni-ki's eyes got widened with his crimson cheeks and red ears, not believing what she just did-
"w-what was t-that for?"
"thank you so much for today, ni-ki. Thank you for everything. I did not regret coming with you at all, you know." She smiled at hm.
"a-ah, im happy, that you're happy"
He bit his lips, preventing himself from screaming out loud because of her tiny kiss. He was indeed whipped.
"ni-ki, thank you for loving me." She had been gathering up her courage and preparing for this for so long. She inhaled deeply while ni-ki was speaking.
"why are you thanking me for that? You know I'll alway-"
"im ready now." Byeol cut him off mid sentence, making him shook.
"s do-"
"I love you too riki" those words were everything.
Both of them could feel the sensation of butterflies flying inside their bellies. Their cheeks went crimson. Ni-ki was especially loosing all his words and felt like both of them were in cloud nine when their lips collided. It was the best feeling ever.
