MY MYSTERIOUS MAN

chapter 4

"I was happy
I was ready to express my thoughts and feelings for him
He is beautiful inside and outside ..
I have fallen for him"

Time : 5:30 pm
Age: 16

Nandini is sitting near the lake side as usual ..
And pete is sitting beside her

"So nandini, tell me what are you future plans!" Pete asked her excitingly

"I guess to be alive ?"..nandini replied with a faint smile ..

They both became close very fastly in a very less time ..

"Don't be like that and tell me your dream .."..he said suddenly moving to get front ..facing her

"I actually never really thought about it ..
Sometimes I don't even know if I can come back to here tomorrow ..
Then how will I have a dream for the far future which I don't know will be there ..
But just for a conversation ..mmm...
I think my dream is to have a family ..A place where I can only feel love
This engineer,doctor,or some other jobs never fascinated me ..
Oh wait I think I used to like a job

I never told you but my father used to be a famous writer ..
Now he is like this but ..
Whenever I used to see the seriousness in his face while he is working ..
I used to think he is soo cool ..
And eventually I started thinking I should become like father "..she said

"I see then what's the problem ..
You see writing a book completely depends on your imagination power right but when the imagination connects with the reality it gives a more better story ..
If you ever feel like becoming a writer start with your story ..I am sure it will become a great hit"...he said and patted her  head

With a slight red cheeks
Nandini pushed his hand

She checked the time and she have to go to work  ..

Nandini go to part time job as a dish washer early in the morning everyday
And later goes to school after cooking breakfast for her father and luch for both
And evening after relaxing for an hour with Pete she will go for another part time job in a coffee shop and at time 10 she returns home ..

But she maintained her grades higher for her to apply for a scholarship

"I have to go"..nandini said standing up ..

Suddenly Pete caught her hand
"I am really worried about you, you are over exerting yourself ..
You might faint at this rate"..he said worriedly ..

"It feels so good that someone is worrying about me but i don't have a choice ..
And do you think I am weak enough to faint ? ..
I am so strong ..
I can take you in fight right now right here ..
Wanna try?"..she asked and pete laughed loud ..

Nandini gave a small smile ..
And was about to leave

"Nandini .. tomorrow I have a very important thing to say to you ..
You should definitely come here by 5 alright?"..he asked with a serious look on his face ..

Nandini nodded her head and went to her job ..

Her mind Is revolving around the words pete said ..

"Very important thing...what could it be"..she is thinking again and again. .

But by the end of her shift
She finally ended up with confession ..

"I know it's not been long but whatever he says doesn't matter to me .
He is my first love .
The first person after mom to care about me ..and share everything with me ..
I feel safe around him and smile around him ..

Is there any other reason where I should deny what i am feeling for him"..

With many thoughts in her mind
She finally reached home ..

As she opened the door
Her father who is woobling being drunk stood in front of her ..

"Money"..he asked

"There is nothing to give .."..she said and walked past him ..

"Don't lie ..I am sure there will be something, give it "..he shouted and pulled her bag ..
All her books were fallen down ..
Along with ointments and plasters ..
But there is money..

"Where did you hide it ?"..he asked angrily and slapped her ..

"I didn't hide it ..I have none ..you took everything ...I still have to get my paycheck atleast wait till then"..she shouted crying ..

"This is the first time you shouted on me .
Is it that guys influence ? ..he asked and Nandini got shocked ..

"What?"

"I am observing from a long time you speaking with this guy. .
I did a small background check and looks like he have a fortune ..
Maybe I will get money from him ..if you can't give me "..he said and tried to leave

"No stop ..don't go near him ..
He has nothing to do with this ..
You need money right I will give you"..she said and ran to her room ..
And took all the remaining amount left with her to live untill the month end
And came down

She slapped on his face with the money ..

He without any feeling started picking up the money ..

"How did you become so cheap ..father .."..she said crying ..

Her father with complete anger on his face .

"Cheap?"..he said so angrily ..

"Who are you calling cheap you murderer .."..he shouted and took the flower wase on the table beside him and hit nandini head .

Nandini fallen down with blood dripping out of her head ..
Falling onto her face ..

"This would have never happened if you are not here ..
It would've been best if you were dead but you dare call me cheap after everything you did ? "..he shouted angrily and kicked her in her stomach as she crawling on the ground ..unable to move ..

And angrily he left the house ..

Nandini stood up with outmost difficulty and went outside the house ..

With the blood dripping and falling ..
She kept her one hand on her wound on head trying to stop the bleeding and other hand on her stomach ..
Which is hurting like hell ..

She slowly reached the hospital and finally after entering the hospital she fainted ..
