"I cannot believe you are Zaim’s son. When we were newly married your father would take me to dates frequently. I haven't even seen you go on a single date from the day of your marriage. What might Yusra be thinking about me?" Saim heard his mother, as he sat to have his breakfast, glancing around to look for Yusra but found her missing.

Saim was surprised when last night, she didn't wake up again to check up on him and after he was completely satisfied he slept on that uncomfortable couch making him think about how she was sleeping onto it for days. It was the first time from the day of their marriage that he had woken up first for Fajr, while she was still asleep, waking up instantly as the alarm went off.

After returning from the masjid, he hadn't had a glimpse of Yusra till now, thinking she would be in the kitchen with his mother but on not finding her in the thought place he was now getting worried at her sudden disappearance.

He silently ate his breakfast, hearing his mother complain about his lack of attention to his wife when she called out to him.

"Saim are you listening?" She asked and he nodded his head giving a lazy smile making his father to smirk at him, to only have him roll his eyes. "You are going to take her out today." He heard his mother and before he could deny, an excuse already up, Yusra walked in with a grin on her face making him sit straight.

"Mum, it's a yes." She said nodding her head and Saim looked at her surprised while his mother glanced his way grinning widely, "See even she has been waiting for it." She said patting Yusra's cheek making her glance around the room in confusion.

Saim gazed her way, unable to utter a word. He didn't knew she wanted to go outings but what surprised him more was her confidence. He liked how she was quick to agree while he was making up excuses thinking she wouldn't want it.

"I think we should call them and inform." Yusra said offering Zara to have more of the pancakes she made, she learnt from Fariha's café, while everyone looked at her confused. "Yeah- And bhai left for work, he said he will have his breakfast in office." Yusra said and just as she turned around to walk into the kitchen with the empty plate, she heard a sudden shriek from Zara that made her jump, the plate now on the floor in pieces.

Saim hurriedly stood up, rushing towards her pulling her away from the broken pieces of the plate, examining her feet asking whether it had hurt her.

"I am sorry, I suddenly understood what bhabhi said. Ya Allah it's a yes from Saad bhai." Zara yelled in excitement and Sara too joined her while Yusra sat down to pick up the pieces when Saim pulled her up, close to himself.

"Yusra leave it, Shama aunty will do it." Referring to their cleaning maid, Saim spoke to Yusra, who was pressed up against his chest, his eyes onto his family with a grin. She glanced up at him, pulling herself a little away from him before whispering, "I am sorry, I made a mess." She said and Saim glanced at her to let her know that it wasn't her fault but ended up staring in her doe like eyes, forgetting what she had spoken.

"It's okay Yusra! I am so happy, Alhamdulillah. " Sara exclaimed and hearing his mother's voice, Saim quickly pulled himself away, clearing his throat maintaining a safe distance from her while she smiled apologetically at Sara.

"I am going to make a call," Sara said making Zaim to stand up, before the two made their way out but Sara quickly paused turning around, "Yusra, Saim just said that tonight you both are going on a date." Sara said quickly and giggling like a school kid, she held Zaim’s hand before rushing out leaving a startled Yusra and Saim in the room while Zara too took her leave, leaving the couple alone.
