Chapter 26

Everything was going smoothly. She could see everyone engrossed in their own world. Her mother-in-law along with the ladies chit chatted around happily with the guests while the girls were busy taking pictures. Her gaze moved to Erum who had a bright smile, the happiness clearly evident on her face.

Wiping a tear that left her eye, she looked around with a smile on her face. It was more than two hour away that they had reached the venue but she still found herself stuck onto the place they had left their conversation incomplete. She had received a few missed calls from her husband but she had done a good job avoiding them. She was not ready to hear things that could only damage her more than she was.

She couldn't help but hear how her mind was yelling at her to end up things and just disappear to a place and start a fresh life, where she wouldn't have to suffer while her broken heart still asked to have sabr, letting her know that it will be fine and she should think about the people around her.

Sucking in a deep breath she moved forward taking a place besides Ruhana who already looked exhausted from the event.

"What's wrong?" Ruhana questioned and all she could do was fake a smile, the only thing she had been doing perfectly that night, while shaking her head, before turning her attention back to the bride.

If only she could have her happily married after.

"Yusra?" She turned to Ruhana on hearing her call out to her, "Can you please do me a favour?" She nodded her head wanting to get herself distracted by any mean that she could get.

"I actually wanted to have my medicines and my purse is in our car, can you get it for me?" Ruhana extended the car keys to her which Yusra took asking her if she needed the medicines or the purse.

"Get my purse you won't understand which medicine." Agreeing, she stood up walking away to the entrance looking at the girls in a corner sitting with their heads in their phones.

She smiled at a few ladies she met while she walked out, before making it to the parking. She walked to the car as soon as she recognized it, allowing the car to open before finding the purse. She smiled as she noticed Rania's spare clothes inside, finding the purse below it, before pulling out and closing the door behind her.

"Hey darling," She heard an unrecognizable voice behind her and as soon as she turned around she witnessed her nightmare standing right in front of her, making her freeze. Her mind instructed her to run, to get inside to the safest place but her legs felt numb. Suddenly she felt her energy draining in thin air, the air suddenly suffocating her.

"Surpirse." Baseer spoke his dark voice haunting her, making her to stumble back onto the car, in an attempt to gain support. Her hold onto the purse tighten ready to leave when she noticed him already walking closer to her, his face now shining due to the bright light that fell on them, making her gulp.

"How are you Yusra?" He questioned lowering his head while moving his hand to her cheek while she pulled her head back trying to maintain distance between them, not wanting to show how scared she was.

"M-move away." She stuttered but she was glad that she could speak up, "Ah, so you have started speaking huh?" He questioned making her gulp but instead of showing her fear she moved away trying to run back inside when he got hold of her hand, tightening his hold making her yelp in pain.

"I have been looking out for you and you are running away from me? Not fair." He growled making Yusra to shiver at his voice. Her past flashed right in front of her, the never leaving memories once again coming back in full flash making her legs to wobble.
