Chapter twelve: "Mine"

The wedding ended with all of us bidding the newlyweds goodbye so they could go to the airport for their honeymoon in Hawaii

"Remember to bring back a baby!" Ramira's brother joked that both of their parents rolled their eyes at him with the Dad giving out a small sigh

Dylan's mother, my Aunt Clarisse wiped the tears at the corner of her eyes "Have fun and be safe alright?" She sniffed a little before her husband gave her a tissue to blow on

My sisters bid farewell to Ramira "Enjoy your honeymoon!" Wendy chimed with a grin on her face while waving goodbye to them as they got in the car

The engine started and the car started to leave right after, the white car was no longer in sight right after it right turned around the corner. Everybody started to settle down while the others stayed for a night of Bingo with my grandparents

Ramira's family also joined in on the family Bingo but I was too tired to join in so I walked up to Cloud who was talking to one of my cousins named Ben, my hand reached for his rolled-up sleeves and I tucked it a little which made him turn to me "What is it, Angel?" He asked

I rubbed one of my eyes "I'm going back to the hotel room, see you there"

Cloud sets down his drink "I'll take you there"

I waved my hand at him "No, no, it's fine. I'm sure Mamita Daphne wants you to join them on their Bingo" I pointed my finger at my grandparents waving at Cloud to join them

He groaned a little "But what about you?"
He wanted to impress my family but he doesn't want to leave me alone to go back to our room

"I'll be fine don't worry, at least join their one round of Bingo then you can head back to our hotel room" I kissed his cheek then grabbed my small purse on the chair before leaving the reception

The walk back was calm and peaceful before I heard my home buzz in my purse, I continued to walk as I pulled out my phone to answer the call. The caller ID was from Aiden's "Hey Aiden!"

"Thank God you called!" He exclaimed through the phone

I raised a brow "Why? What happened?"

He sounds so scared and his breathing is so heavy like he ran a marathon

"I'm running away from those crazy fans and I feel like my body is going to fail me now" he explained
Oh so that's why

I chuckled "Then I guess I can't help you"
I don't know what to do to help him in that kind of situation

"Aiden, how about you try and find Ruth? Maybe he could help" I suggested

"Wait no-" I instantly ended the call
If he needs help then he should go find Ruth

Me and Cloud would have to deal with some of his fans in our way
We would usually meet those people at the mall or during our small date together when we have free time between our class periods

The carpeted floors of the hotel just bring back some nostalgic childhood memories and the hotel that we used to stay in on our way to Banff, I finally reached my door and opened it with our room key.

My body ached a little at sitting for too long since the ceremony felt like a long time to finish
It wouldn't feel right either if the ceremony ended quickly

Since Cloud would be at the reception until one round of Bingo ends, I happily locked the door and removed my dress in the bedroom which left me being only in my underwear.
