Chapter twenty-eight: "Whatever"

After touring around Cloud's university campus he drove me and Cheryl back to our dorms with Alice and Daisy tagging along

I was on the passenger seat while the test was seated at the back
Cloud's car is big and spacious so having 5 people in it is still a few

He asked the car at the nearest parking space at the entrance of the parking lot, I unbuckled my seatbelt and blew a small air kiss to Cloud "See you soon" 

He winked back at me "I'll be waiting"

Cheryl and Daisy pretended to gag at the back "Please save your affections when we are not around, my eyes needed to be washed" Daisy complained and Cheryl just kept nodding at whatever she says

I rolled my eyes "Then get out"

"We are already planning on getting out mistress" Cheryl gave me a straight face while delivering that line and I couldn't help but snort in front of her face

Alice was already out of the car as her eyes were glued on her phone, her brows furrowed and something tells me that the message she received  could either be good or bad
Whatever it is, it still made me nervous for her even though her love life is none of my business

Cheryl and Daisy joined her to see what was going on
I better hop out to check what's going on

I waved at Cloud goodbye before getting out of the vehicle then made my way towards Alice "Did something happen?"

His car started to leave the parking lot and soon it already disappeared once the car drove around the curb of the building, I turned back my attention to Alice

She nodded without removing her eyes on her phone "Will just messaged me"

Me and Daisy looked at each other leaving Cheryl in the dark as she is puzzled about what is going on. After exchanging glances with Daisy who was just waiting for what could make Alice furrow her brows together, I decided to be the first to ask

I took in a deep breath "Is it good news or bad?"

"It's both I guess, I'm not sure" she answered while handing me her phone to let me see the message that Will sent to her

We need to talk, I have something to tell you, please?

That's all it says
Alright let's calm down, maybe he wants to have a heart to heart chat with Alice so they can work out their relationship

Yeah, that might be the best outcome for now

Alice was starting to hyperventilate "He's gonna break up with me" her eyes are starting to water "Please tell me he's not gonna tell me that he's gonna break up with me" her voice cracked at the last sentence before she started to break down

Cheryl was patting her back and comforting her immediately

We 3 started to work together to bring Alice to the dorm and try our best to calm her down

I gave her a glass of water and she chugs it all down in one go, I started to panic "Hey don't chug it all down-"

Before I could finish my sentence she started to hiccup, she moves her thumb up and down at the side of the glass cup while her eyes started to dart everywhere. We could even hear her unstable breath

I sat beside her then I put my arm around Alice, she created her head on my shoulder. Alice was still hiccuping but it seems like she has calmed down a bit

She puts down the glass on the nightstand "I just don't get why we are starting to act this way to each other, we've never fought indirectly like this" she sighs
