Chapter one hundred three: "Disown"

"C'mon Pau Pau, it's just graduation it's not like I'm gonna die wearing a party dress underneath the gown" Cheryl rolled her eyes at Paul who was shocked that she would be wearing a bright red party dress

Paul was left scratching his head "Babe I know you want to party right after graduation, and so do I, but right now my parents are going to be at the graduation. They might not let me marry you if they see you like that, I would but they wouldn't let me"
He was in a bind of not hurting Cheryl's feelings and afraid of getting his parent's disapproval of her

Mom chuckled while she was busy fixing my dress underneath the gown while Aunt Laborè was busy fixing my hair, Dad kept taking pictures of me from every angle he could get

"Dad I think you took enough pictures of Penelope to fill up the entire wall back at home" Cara joked while she was busy eating chips and take-out foods with my other sisters

Cloud snorted "I mean" all of their attention went to him because he has a camera hung around his neck "I don't mind filling up an entire wall" he shrugged

Ella squinted her eyes at him "Bruh that sounds creepy"

"I know right?" Nikki agreed with Ella
The twins also came to congratulate me, our other friends are also busy getting ready for their graduations at their university so they couldn't be here right now

Nick laughed as he puts an arm around Cloud "You finally got yourself a teacher as a girlfriend"

I giggled a little then bend my head to let my mother put the graduation hat on me and placed some bobby pins to keep it in place

No matter how much I keep looking at my parents, they just couldn't stop trying to hold their tears in. Mom's eyes watered as she held her breath once she was done getting me ready "You're all grown up"

Aunt Laborè cackled at my mom's runny mascara "Du Idiot, sie macht ihren Abschluss und stirbt nicht" (You idiot, she's graduating not dying) she said in German while holding her stomach

"Es ist ja nicht so, als könnte mich deine trockene Matratze verstehen" (It's not like your dry ass mattress can understand me) Mom mumbled under her breath

Adeline removed her eyes from her phone "Mamma, smettila di litigare" (Mom, stop fighting)

Cloud and Nikki noticed that Nick's mouth was slightly ajar so Nikki puts her hand under her brother's chin and closed his mouth

Adeline saw that and she raised a brow "What?"

Nick cleared his throat and nonchalantly said "Nothing"

Cloud and I looked at each other
Oh boy, history is repeating itself in another form

We're gonna be in for another wild rollercoaster emotional ride again and I don't think it's a bad thing to help Adeline improve her awareness of her surroundings. Just give me a few minutes and I would gladly slap my past self and tell at her face to say "Cloud loves you, you dumbass motherfucking oblivious bitch"

Natalie was still busy with another surgery so she couldn't come today which is why Brie kept taking videos one right after the other like she had unlimited space in her cellphone

"Is nobody gonna ask why am I hearing multiple languages spoken between family members at the same time?" Wallace asked with a confused face turning it both ways

Ken and Brian patted his shoulder, Ken answered "It's better if you know it from them cause I'm lost also"
