Auhor's POV. Kavitadevi came to know what happened in the house during her absence and was shocked, worried, awed and thankful.
They sat down for lunch just then a man came in and said "Deviyon you have been called to the Court room now".
Hearing him Kavitadevi and Chandni looked at Chavi worried but were shocked to see no fear.
Chavi was scared but managed to mask her emotions making it seem like she was very confident. She just wanted Krishna to comfort her right now.

Krishna : did you do something wrong or do you regret beating him?
Me : no he was harassing my best friend.

With a new confidence she was ready to face the consequences if something bad happens because she believes that Krishna will definitely help her . When she walked out Kavitadevi and Chandni looked at her jaw dropped. Chandni and kavitadevi are from a very rich and respected Brahman family but they have never seen such fine craftsmanship of her jewellery and clothing.
But they understood that Chavi also might be form a respectable Kashitrya family because such riches are only accessible to Kashitrya only.

Everyone was left silent at what she said because they expected her to be quiet and accept the punishment like any other woman of hastinapur.
But to their surprise she actually spoke about women empowerment and what ever she spoke was absolutely true. Seeing everyone silent Chavi smirked initially and continued.
Chavi : the biggest problem of this male dominated society is that a woman is a woman's biggest enemy because when they see a woman getting disrespected then they too look at her with disgust and hate instead of helping her, in Vedas proscribed women are considered as goddess but still people have the nerve to question her purity.
