cw: suggestive themes

The following night, four minutes to midnight, Rini sings and dances along to the song she's currently playing through the speakers of the convenient store while restocking items. Bobbing her head while moving it right to left, she sang along to the lyrics, dancing happily even though she's the only one inside and she can still be seen through the glass windows.

When the exciting part of the song that's playing is about to come, the chime of the glass doors rang, signalling a customer entering.

"Welco-" Rini was about to greet but immediately her eyes widened and ducked behind the shelves of chips, hands covering the top of her head. Slowly taking a peak, she wondered how in the world did Takeomi stumbled upon this store and why this place out of all that he could go to. Squatting down, she tucked her hair underneath her beret before slowly standing up, going over to the behind the counter while keeping her head low.

"There's no need for the disguise." She heard Takeomi say. "I already figured out it's gonna be based on your voice earlier."

Slowly lifting her head up and blinking her eyes, she came face to face with a stoic faced Takeomi who's looking down at her.

"I can explain." She offers, lowering her face mask to show him her sheepish smile.

"Yeah, sure. I hope it's a good one." He tells her.

In the midst of the two older siblings, the glass doors of the convenient store opened again before a small sound gasp echoed, causing the two Akashi siblings to turn and look who it is.

"What are you three doing here?" Takeomi asks, looking at the two Inui siblings and Kokonoi. Whipping his head back to look at Rini. "Do they know?"

Abashed, Rini couldn't help but slowly nod her head. At the exact same time as well, the glass doors of the convenient store opened once more.

"Huh? Ah, Seishu, Koko, you're here again." It was Wakasa, scooting on the other side. Looking at the counter, he noticed Takeomi standing in front.

"Hi" He greets him.

Takeomi turns his head again to look at Rini. The girl could only nod her head once more in defeat.

"So...that's it. Nothing else follows." Rini says, finishing her explanation to him.

While the two of them talk inside the store, Wakasa along with the other three were outside to give them space.

"You could have just told me if you wanted one." Takeomi replies, uncrossing his arms. "If you wanted it so much, you could have told me and I'd get it for you." He adds, sighing afterwards. "Do you still want it?"

"Uh...about that" Rini begins to say, the beret and face mask already removed from her. "Wakasa already got it for me." She says, giving him a tight lipped smile.

Hearing her words, Takeomi couldn't help but sigh again. "Since were now talking about him, be honest with me, are you going out with him?"

Her shoulders drop to her sides. "We are." She begins to say. "Were just fairly new, days old perhaps."

Takeomi slowly nodded his head, taking in the new found information about her. "Okay." was all he said.

Looking down at the top of the counter and at the items that Takeomi placed earlier, picked the little blue box between her thumb and index finger. "Ultra thin, huh?" She asks, looking up at him before tossing it down on the counter. "And on strawberry flavor?"

"She likes strawberry's!" Takeomi presses.

"Oh, so you are seeing someone too!" She concludes, pointing a finger at him. "No wonder it explains your little rendezvous at night."

"Didn't know you were keeping tabs on me." He replies.

Rini clasps her hands together, jumping a little on her spot. "So...do you still want this?" She asks, pointing at the box of condoms.

"Nah. Put them back in the shelf for me."

"How rude!"

. . . . . . . . . . ♡

"Now I know why you've been doing errands for us." Takeomi begins to say as Rini watches the Inui siblings and Kokonoi walk back home. "Here I was about to call you our errand boy."

"Secret's out of the bag now." Wakasa responded, blinking while keeping a close look at Rini and where she stood. "Don't get mad or scold her, brother in law." He teases him.

"I completely forbid you from calling me that."

"Why not, brother in law?"

Before Takeomi could burst out, Rini walked back towards them. "They got home safely!" She says, "A few more hours left until my shift is done." She adds, looking at the time on her wrist watch.

"Wait a minute" She says, eyebrows furrowing while looking up at Takeomi. "You seriously couldn't be buying that box because you were going to meet her?"

All eyes were on Takeomi now as she asks. The tall male blinks before covering his mouth with his hand.

"Shit, I forgot about her." He confesses. "I completely forgot about her." He wheezes. "It's been- woah an hour passed already. I told her I'd be back fifteen. Nah, anyways. I like it here." He continues, leaning his back on his seat while stretching his legs forward.

"Poor her." Rini mentions, walking back inside the store.

For the remaining hours, Rini didn't feel sleepy at all. Perhaps it was because Takeomi is sleeping in the staff room - back hunched over the little table while his arms rests on top of it, serving it as a pillow for himself while Wakasa sits on another chair, body bent to the side as he has his head on top of her lap, sleeping soundly.

Humming a soft tune for him, she slowly glides her hand up to gently caress his hair between her fingers. With a smile, she leans down a little to admire the face she loves most. Just looking at him reminded her of how time would pass by them fast when you're with your lover.

Groaning, Wakasa slowly opens his eyes, blinking the fatigue away. In his heart, he had a very specific person in mind that he always wanted to see first thing in the morning - her. Slowly waking himself up, he gets up from her lap and sits back up, stretching his upper body.

"Did you have a good sleep?" Rini asks, looking at him.

"Barely." He responded. "But it was good enough." He adds. "After this, do you want to get breakfast with me?"

"I'd love to." She immediately agrees, awaiting for the remaining minutes on her shift to end so she could enjoy her time with him now.
