Chenford + T.O/Rookie Moment

( set sometime in s3, after visiting Rosalind Lucy tells Tim something )

After visiting Rosalind in prison and Tim telling her to knock it off. They sat in the silent shop. Pretty uncomfortable silence. Lucys stared out the window with a pretty mindless mind until she said her thought out loud " I kept it you know" looking out the window refusing to look Tim in the eye. Course replying with a hmmm? Where she cracked an eye roll

" The tattoo I mean I kept it " Tims gaze softened as Lucy continued " you know we never talked about how you went that day" she said trailing off because tims soft demeanor turned into a silent angry one with his jaw clenched and looking outside while driving.

That's when Lucy decided to stop talking, she knows when Tim gets like this it's best to stop and he'll starting talking when he's ready which in this case didn't take him long Lucy kinda forgot about it until he did start talking

" I was uhh scared I called Angela I confined in how I told you to go out, have a drink how i pushed you towards him, i told her how hesitate you were, more than scared for you than I was for Isabel " he opened up to her than turned his head to look at her with her teary eyes then after a few moments he asked " why did you keep it" curiosity was getting to him.

She have him a small smile " well someone very important told me I could see it as my greatest failure or proof that I'm a survivor and I'd like to think I see it as proof that I am a survivor because I have overcome so many things like I did just then as Rosalind sang the song I died while singing it in a hot, dusty, gross barrel" she said

Tim grabbed her hand with their hands interlocked over the center console where all the buttons are kept " you ARE a survivor Lucy I know, I know you are " he looked at her with a look that all to well says ' I really love you but I can't say it because I'm still your T.O and their are cameras on'

It's like she heard his silent thought as her breath hitched as whispered to him " tell me again in three weeks" she said with a hopeful smile

Three weeks he thought

Three weeks and he wouldn't be her T.O

So that's what he did waited for three weeks until the end of their last shift together, near his car where they shared their first kiss and where he told her he loved her and reminded her that she was a survivor
