Chenford Proposal

Lucy's always pictured her proposal to be a sweet moment between the couple where it's just them and the world suddenly...stops Lucy had told Tim the way she would like her proposal to be done a moment between the couple way before they even started it was one of the many weird topics Lucy would bring up So when Lucy and Tim started dating, he knew he was going to marry this girl and he knew how to do it. Ever since then he's always dreamed about he would propose to Lucy even when Ashley was sleeping right next to him... yeah he had it bad Lucy moved into Tims house not that long after they did start dating after Aaron claimed he had to find somewhere to live Lucy offered her apartment as Aaron and Tamara hit it off as soon as they met + Tamara was always a little uncomfortable.

 when Tim was around, and she also didn't want to invade on their space. She came home to quiet house after a long day of paperwork as Tim had the day off but Lucy still had to go to work as she opened the front door she noticed no one was in the house but she was eloping the smell of chicken alfredo it was her favorite dish ( aside from veggie burger of course ) she hanged up her purse and toed off her shoes and made her way outside where Tim and Kojo where already there sleeping away in the corner

Tim had fairy lights on and music playing in the background with dinner served up on the deck furniture " hey babe... what's all this " she asked slightly intrigued Tim smiled at her little did she know he was proposing here tonight in their backyard " I thought you deserved it after long days you've had plus I've been a little bit busy with work " Lucy smiled at the sweet gesture she knew Tim was tuff and had his walls up but underneath that he was a big softie and romantic when it came to her.

" thanks Tim" as she gave him a chaste kiss " you deserve it baby" he said to her blushing at the term of endearment. He pulled out her chair and offered her a glass of wine " ohhh thank you kind sir " she teased as they sat down eating and talking about their day.

After Tim cleared the plates and wine and turned the music up a little louder, grabbed Lucy's hand and pulled her into a dance. Lucy loved dancing with Tim no matter where they were

After a few minutes Tim stopped and grabbed Lucy's hand as soon as he got down on one knee Lucy started crying putting both hands to her mouth

" Luce ever since I meet you have pushed my ways in a way that would piss me off in anyone else was doing it you've been there for my darkest moments Isabel, my father, when I was in the hospital and lots more, you are a kind person who is sunshine personified, even when you were weak you were still determined to go to work and put a smile on your face and be friendly, I love all your quirks, when you sing, when you dance, when your funny , when your sad and when your angry... baby you changed me in the best ways and challenge me in the best ways , the bets we make are on of my favorite parts of my relationship with you. I think about you every single day wondering what you're doing, worrying about you when your not with me, and protecting you even when you don't need it because you are a badass and there's is not quite in you" Lucy at this point was full on crying and moved her hands away interlocking one of her shaking hands in his with her other arm elbowed into her face " Lucy Chen will you marry me " Tim finished at the end of his speech with his million dollar question

Lucy is silent for a minute " are you serious " she says crying, Tim was even shedding a few " I'm 100% serious baby I love you and want to marry you " Lucy was laughing who knew Tim Bradford could be this cheesy " yes yes yes!!" she said using her hand to lift him up off the ground as he placed the ring onto her finger she admired it with joy it was a beautiful butterfly round cut silver ring in the color purple.

" Tim, it's beautiful, " she said in awe after she found her voice and her tears that had dried up. She looks up at him with tears breaking again she lands her hand on his cheek " I love you" she whispered softly as he kissed into her palm his whispered " I love you too" into her palm as they shared a hug and forehead kisses as they rock themselves in the backyard with music, and just them 2 forgetting about the world and embracing themselves as a new engaged couple.
