Tim buys a motorcycle

After being on the force for many years he decided that it was time to retire. so he could spend more time at home, with lucy ( even if she was still working ) and with his grandkids

After his retirement Tim decided to go buy something for himself. So he decided to go buy a motorcycle

without lucy's permission and knowing his wife she would want to consult with him first and discuss it before buying it. but not this time as it was a purchase tim has been wanting to make for years.

he parked his new motorcycle in the driveway and walking up the driveway until he stopped in his tracks where he saw his wife with a look on her

" what did you buy tim " she asked he made the face lucy had recognised all those years ago when he asked her out for a date in greys office " uh nothing " he said and went to go try walk away before lucy put her hand on his chest and stopped him " tim what did you buy" she said with a look and a tone that just meant tell me the truth now before i slap it out

" okay after retiring I thought buying the motorcycle would be a fun way to enjoy my newfound freedom. " he said to her hoping that was enough information

Lucy sighed "Tim, I understand that you're retired and don't have to do anything , but we always agreed to discuss major choices together. this moter cycle affects both of us, not just you..

"I'm sorry, Lucy. I got caught up in the excitement of retirement and just relaxing with the new freedom I have and didn't think about how it would affect you. I should have talked to you first." he said

Lucy " Exactly, Tim. We're partners, and I want to be involved in decisions that impact our lives. It's not just about the motorcycle; it's about the financial implications and our plans for the future." she said

It was now Tim's turn to sigh " I apologize for not considering your perspective and the importance of our joint financial planning."

" You're right, Lucy. I'm sorry for being thoughtless. next time we do something like this let's discuss it first and , including how we want to spend our time and manage our finances i love you
