"Jaan, wake up," someone said, but I was lost in a dream, a sweet dream with Aahan. But that voice, it was so irritating. "Jaan, wake up, na," the voice persisted, and I sighed, trying to find my pillow to snuggle into. But then, someone pulled my pillow away from me. Not again. I was going to kill Aahan. I said this to myself as I refused to open my eyes. "Jaan, enough now. We have our flight today," he said, which made me finally open my eyes.

Suddenly, it hit me that I had forgotten all about it. I couldn't believe it and shouted, which made Aahan jump. He put his hand on his chest and asked, "What happened?"

I explained, "I don't have any western clothes, and it will be uncomfortable to wear a saree or any ethnic wear." I nervously played with my hands, and my voice was a little deep due to just waking up. Aahan tried to comfort me, "It's okay, Jaan. You look sexy in a saree, and that reception look was-" Before he could finish, I threw the pillow directly at his face, but he caught it.

He continued, "Don't be like this, Jaan. That was the truth," with a wink.

I was fully aware that I must have looked like a ripe tomato due to all the blushing. He couldn't help but smirk and slowly approach me, teasingly reaching out his hand towards my cheek. I quickly slapped his hand away and ran towards the bathroom as fast as I could. I could hear his voice taunting me, "Run, my dear. But don't forget, I'll catch you on our honeymoon and never let you go."

As I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I couldn't help but wear a silly smile on my face, and my cheeks still had a red tint to them. I knew I was falling deeper for him with each passing moment.

"By the way, jaan, will you pick your own clothes or should I come in?" Aahan's voice interrupted my thoughts, making me realize that I hadn't even taken my clothes yet. As I opened the door, Aahan stood there with a smirk on his face, blocking my way as I tried to go towards the closet. I attempted to go from another side, but he blocked my way again. I huffed and looked at him, and he gave me a huge grin. "Hurry up and get ready. We have to go to the mall for our honeymoon shopping," he said, brushing his nose against mine. I closed my eyes as his breath fell on my cheeks, and suddenly he kissed me on my nose before saying, "Do you want to continue, or should we save the rest for our honeymoon?" His face was so close to mine, and I found myself staring at his lips. Just as we were about to kiss, I twisted his right ear, and he screamed in pain.

Are you trying to be too cheesy?" I asked him. He looked at me with a pouty face and whined, "Leave me, leave me." I couldn't help but smile at his childlike behavior and let go of his ear.

"What kind of wife are you? i was trying to be romantic, but you keep pulling my ears. That's not fair. change wife cahnge next-," he complained, but before he could finish, I twisted his other ear with more force.

"Change? Okay, wait. I'll make you change your mind," I said sternly as I twisted his ear harder. "No, no,you are always permanent, just kidding," he quickly corrected himself, pleading for me to let go.

After I released his ear, I walked towards my closet, still keeping an eye on him.

"Let's go now," I said, coming out of the closet, all dressed for the mall. However, Aahan was sitting on the bed with his laptop on his lap, completely engrossed in it. I couldn't help but stare at him in disbelief. I mean, he had a beautiful wife standing right in front of him, yet he was busy with his laptop. He finally looked up at me and checked me out from head to toe before closing his laptop.

"Aab bola ga ye Srishti, tum kitni sundar ho bol bhi abb. Phir mr reply krung-" I was lost in thought, thinking that he hadn't even noticed my presence, when he suddenly got up and left the room. I heard his voice from the other room, and I realized that he had already moved on from our little moment.
