   Chapter 21,
    He's Bonded With The Outcast
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  It was supposed to be a calm day, Mi'kayah and Tikki were planning on trying to help Leia choose whether being a healer, a hunter, or a warrior was best for her. Neteyam, Kiri, Tuk, and Tsireya were going to tag along, as the four wanted to hang out with the sisters. Well, Neteyam really just wanted to hang out with Mi'kayah.
  Jake had sat Neteyam down with Neytiri in their pod and asked him if he was enjoying the village, then began asking him about his future. Neteyam wasn't ready for the future, he was going to become Olo'eyktan and have to soon choose a mate to be his Tsahik. It was too much pressure for him, he just wanted to be a teen.
  The conversation soon changed to what he didn't want to speak about the most. Choosing a mate.
  "Neteyam, we know you hate the topic but we just want to know if you had chosen someone already." Jake spoke as he looked at his eldest son.
  Neteyam sighed and looked away from his parents, he didn't want to talk to them about this.
"Ma Teyem, we know you might have your eyes set on a certain Metkayina girl. You do not need to hide it." Neytiri adds as she grabbed Neteyam's hand.
  Neteyam didn't know if it was his heart beating that was loud or the fears that ran through his head. Obviously Mi'kayah was the one he wanted to choose, but he isn't from her clan, and he was unsure of the rules to picking a tsahik. Even though Neteyam was the golden boy his family, he wouldn't think about it twice if he had to throw away his rank to be with Mi'kayah.
  "I do want Mi'kayah to be my Tsahik, and I apologize for not wanting someone from our clan." Neteyam finally admitted as he put his head down in shame.
  Neytiri looked at her husband before hugging her son, she knew how he felt giving the fact she fell in love with someone of a different specimen. Jake couldn't help but smile, Neteyam and Lo'ak were so much like him.
  "Do not apologize for what your heart wants Neteyam, Eywa has blessed you with someone who has a strong and pure heart." Neytiri continued as she kissed her son's forehead.
Since that conversation, Neteyam couldn't help but look at Mi'kayah with adoration. She held his heart in her hands unknowingly, and it made him swoon even more. Somewhere along the lines, Lo'ak joined them. But wherever Lo'ak goes, danger, trouble, and chaos follows.
  With that being said, the group found themselves meeting up with Aonung and Rotxo by the rocks, as Lo'ak explained how a tulkun had saved his life from dying. Tikki crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, she thought his story was bullshit but she wasn't going to say it aloud. Neteyam mocked his brother as he grabbed onto his shoulders and laughed at his story.
  "He is an outcast Lo'ak, a killer. He wouldn't save you even if it benefited him." Tikki stated as she sat down beside Mi'kayah.
  "Forget it, you guys aren't listening to me." Lo'ak sighed as he got up, he was annoyed that nobody understood him.
  Leia and Tuk had gotten up from their seats, although Leia wasn't his little sister, she felt apart of the family. It felt good to have older brothers who would protect you nonstop.
  "No, Lo'ak, we're listening!" Tuk cried out to her brother.
  Tikki sighed as she watched the dramatic brother walked off, the girl waited to see if someone would get up and talk to him but nobody did. Tsireya looked at her best friend and gestured her to go after him, it only took Mi'kayah pinching her inner thigh for her to get up and go.
  Lo'ak bonded with the outcast, because he himself is an outcast. That's what clicked for Tikki as she walked over to him. She knew what that was like, which means she was going to have to make him feel better. How great.
