Chapter .2

I groaned hearing the blaring sound of my alarm that filled the silence of my room.

"I already hate this" I muttered to myself as I reached over to turn off the alarm on my phone.

I looked around my room before getting off my bed and into the bathroom to shower and get ready while I was still practically half
asleep.

As I get closer to the school the faster I could feel my heart beating against my chest and the sweatier my hands got.

My only hope is that people like me or at least treat me well.

But what if people don't like me?

What if they think I'm weird?

My thoughts are interrupted when I realize I am in front of the school already. I look around trying to spot Yoko or at least someone I know. I take a deep breath and try to calm my racing heart. I look around and see Yoko waving at me, with a smile on her face.

"Enid!" She calls out and I wave back. I begin to walk towards her.

"You look snazzy" Bianca said before taking a sip of water

"Thank you first impressions are kinda important to me" I said smiling

"Ready to go?" Yoko asked

"Yeah, where's Divina?"

"She doesn't get here early most of the time because of her brother."

"Oh okay let's go then"

As we entered the school the loud sound of students talking and the smell of cheap body spray and cologne filled the atmosphere.

"So the front of the school is where most things happen but if you're looking for some action then you should definitely go to the auditorium" Bianca explained

"Oh and watch out for Tammy and her little teachers pet ass cause one wrong move and you're off to detention" Yoko added.

Loud foot steps where soon heard behind me.

"Move out the way Baldie!" Someone yelled

As they moved to the side of the hallway the same girl in pigtails from yesterday came speeding down the hallway with a box of donuts. A teacher following right behind her who looked like he hated his life.

"Who's that?" I asked curiously

"That's Wednesday. She's most known for being trouble and rude but once you get to know her she's actually pretty chill" Yoko answered.

"So you guys know her?"

"Yeah for a couple of years but recently she hasn't been able to stop calling me baldie" Bianca scoffed

"For real it's like she learned a new word and can't stop saying it" Yoko laughed.

"Okay anyways let's take you to the front office to get your schedule" Bianca said walking towards it

"just so you know if any dude with skinny jeans asks you for your number do not give it to him" Yoko said firmly

"What? Why?"

"Just don't give it to him okay you'll understand once they get near you" she answered

Before I could say anything else we stopped in front of a royal blue two doubled door.

"We'll be waiting for you outside once you're done. Don't worry we won't leave if the bell rings" Bianca said leaning against the wall

"Okay, I'll be back"
