"Alright class, before we dive into the next lesson, we have a paired project," the teacher's voice rang out.

However, Sakura's attention wasn't on the teacher; she had discreetly inserted her AirPods and was lost in her own world of music.

One student raised their hand, asking if they could choose their partners. But the teacher's response destroyed those hopes, stating that their seat-mates would be their project partners.

And so, it was decided that Sakura would be partnering up with Iwaizumi.

As the teacher gave the class time to discuss the project with their partners, Iwaizumi tapped Sakura's shoulder to grab her attention. She swiftly removed her AirPods and turned around to face him.

"I kind of figured you weren't paying attention, so I thought I'd let you know – I'm your partner for the project," he informed her.

Sakura tilted her head in confusion, not having caught the earlier announcement. "We have a project? And it's due this week? That's unfortunate," she commented.

Iwaizumi let out a sigh, acknowledging, "Yeah, it is. But don't worry, I've got a plan." He began explaining the project details to Sakura. She felt relieved to have Iwaizumi as her partner; if it weren't for him, she might have been tempted to do the whole thing on her own.

"But where are we going to work on all of this?" Sakura inquired, inwardly hoping they could do the project at Iwaizumi's house. She knew her parents could potentially embarrass her if they worked at her place.

Iwaizumi considered it for a moment before responding, "Well, we could do it at my place after practice, if you're okay with that."

A sly grin crossed Sakura's mind as she thought, "Perfect." She then asked Iwaizumi, "Are your parents going to be home?"

Iwaizumi raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her question. "No, they won't be home. Why do you ask?" he inquired.

Sakura maintained her innocent reply, "Just curious," but her tone held a hint of mischief. Observing Iwaizumi's reaction, she couldn't help but think, 'I wonder if he suspects anything.'

From Iwaizumi's perspective, Sakura's expression seemed to hold a devious edge, as if she were plotting something mischievous. He couldn't help but think, 'Why does she look like she's up to something?'

Iwaizumi brushed off the suspicion he felt from Sakura's mischievous tone, refocusing on explaining their project plans.

When the bell rang for lunchtime, they both decided to remain in the classroom to work on a draft for their project.

"Oh? Iwa-chan, you're not joining us for lunch?" Oikawa's voice filled the room as he entered, charmingly waving at his group of fangirls before making his way toward Iwaizumi and Sakura. "Nah, I'm staying here to discuss our project," Iwaizumi replied.

Oikawa then noticed Sakura's presence and greeted her with a friendly wave, "Hi hi, Watanabe! So, you guys are partners for this project?" he inquired, receiving nods from both of them.
