Soom Murtasim and Meerab came out. Meerab wiped her lone tear which escaped her eyes hearing what Murtasim said and didn't let her explain herself. She knows she made a mistake but his silence is worse than any punishment. She felt his hesitation when he was asked to make her wear the necklace but he didn't touch her. She felt bad for pushing him to this point where he was hesitant to touch the girl he liked. Both noticed a girl in mid 20's talking to the old couple. Her voice cheered in the hall which caught their attention. The girl looked so beautiful with her open hair and her voice looked so angelic

"Hello Murtasim", said the girl and pulled Murtasim in a hug which made Meerab's eyes go wide in shock. Here she is trying to get her husband's attention and this girl directly hugs her husband how can she? How dare she touch Murtasim? If Murtasim wants to ignore her then he can but she will not let go of this matter. When the girl stepped away Meerab glared at him and pulled him towards herself

"Who is she Murtasim?", Meerab asked angrily

"I don't know", Murtasim said and looked down as he didn't remember who is she. Her face is looking identical to him but he is unable to guess who the person is. How he will be able to guess when he stops meeting people? He doesn't remember having any girl as his friend. He looked towards Meerab and gulped his saliva as her expression looked like she would eat him and the guest as well

"She is Meerab. And Meerab she is Murtasim's friend Sara", dadi introduced Sara to Meerab which boiled her heart. Why everyone is behind him? Can't anyone see he is already committed to her? She shot daggers at him angrily and soon her thoughts came to a halt when she felt herself engulfed in a hug

"Ohh hello Meerab", Sara said, and after greeting them she walked towards the sofa where she was seated before. Sara opened her bag pulled out a box of chocolates and gave it to Murtasim

"See I brought chocolates for you from America. And share this with Meerab as well. Hope you will not mind sharing", Sara and asked which made Murtasim giggle as he remembered who Sara was. She was his college classmate who used to eat chocolates daily. The class had 40 students so he knew few habits of classmates. Sara is one of them, they were never friends as they never talked but as they were classmates he knew who she is

"You didn't eat yourself. Strange", Murtasim said and gave the box to Meerab who took the box and smiled sarcastically which made Murtasim look down in fear. He is scared of her anger because she behaves like a wild cat when angry.

"I have finished 10 boxes already but I brought it for you. Have it please", Sara requested which he clearly denied as he didn't like chocolates. He avoids having food outside, his family members know that Murtasim always has his meals at home. He was taught like that as his mother never liked him having food outside. He doesn't even like chocolates as he hates too much sugar

"Thank you", Murtasim said as a formality. Sara looked towards Meerab who was holding the chocolate box.

"At least take one Meerab", Sara requested to which Meerab denied as she hated the fact she had to hold someone's gift to her husband and she couldn't even throw this gift outside like her heart was asking to do
