💙 Chapter Twenty-nine💙

"It's okay I understand. The situation was too messy to do this." Dae said and extended his hand to pull Hoseok in a hug but sighed hearing Hoseok cold voice.

"Explain"

"Hobi, that day my mind was very blank after witnessing that. I just left without thinking. Trust me I came to Brient Kingdom to look for you but they said you moved. I am so sorry Hobi."Dae explain cupping his face.

"You promised that day that you will meet me the next day. You promised to never leave me but you left. The following day I came to our meeting place and waited for you but you didn't come. I thought you were occupied that was why you weren't able to make it. I continued coming there everyday but you never appeared. Then I was moved from my orphanage to another one. That was when I met Jimin and colleagues. Thanks to their support I was able to handle myself." Hobi said tears flowing from his eyes.

"You said you loved me as a friend. Was that your way of showing love?" Hobi asked again choking on his sobs.

Dae engulfed him in a hug and slowly patted his back trying to comfort him.

"But I know you went through a lot too, so you are forgiven. But the next time you run away from me then consider it the last time of seeing me. I could have helped you but no you decide to run away from me putting both of us in pain. You know very single day I questioned my worth. I thought I was not worthy of your love. I felt because you were a from a noble family you didn't want to be with a poor orphan like me."

"I don't want to feel that way ever again. It felt horrible." Hoseok concluded still sobbing into Dae's chest.

"I am so sorry, Hobi. I didn't mean to make you feel that way. I promise I won't run away anymore. I will stay with my loved ones and trust them enough to let them explain what I saw before making my conclusion. Hobi let's move on. I am here now. Let's start all over again, okay?"Dae said making Hoseok hum.

"Words baby, are you ready to start over with me?" Dae asked again this time hearing a small yes from Hoseok.

"But wait what about your promise?" Dae asked wiggling his eyebrows suddenly being playful

"Which promise?" Hoseok asked confused.

"You made a promise to marry me when we were younger but you don't remember now" Dae said pouting sadly but Hoseok was all red by his statement.

"No, I won't marry you anymore" Hoseok said after regaining his posture.

"Why?" Dae whined tugging at Hoseok's arm lightly.

"You didn't keep your promise. So the promise I also made at that time is invalid." Hoseok said nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders in the process.

"You can't do that to me" Dae pleaded holding Hoseok' arm gently.

"Oh I can baby Kim ." Hoseok said and patted Dae's hair.

"Not that name, Hyung. I hate it" Dae said faking his anger.

"Tsk, I know you secretly like it. Plus you are my baby" Hoseok said and smirked making Dae blush.

"Hyung, stop you are making me blush. I am the one supposed to make you blush"Dae said

"Dream on baby Kim." Hoseok said and walked away with baby Kim trailing behind him whining about how much he hates that name.

Meanwhile in Brient Kingdom

By the time they reached Brient it was in the evening.

"Good evening, Your majesty" the guards at the doors greeted.

"Good evening" Tae replied and got down from his horse handing it to one of the guards.

The rest also got down and handed over their horses. They were very tired and just wanted to sleep but groaned hearing Tae's statement.

"Follow me Hyungs" Tae said and held Jungkook's hand.

"To where? I am too tired I am going to my room" Yoongi said and turned to leave.

"Please" Tae said and all of them sighed and followed him.

Tae led them till the door he forbid all of them from entering.

"He opened the door and gestured them to follow him.

"Are you sure, Tae? You never allowed us to enter this room. Is everything fine?" Jin asked and cupped one of his cheeks.

"I am fine Hyung. I just want to show you something" Tae replied

He led them into the room and they all gasped seeing the room.

Even though the room was a bit dusty. You could clearly see all the paintings in them. Everything was placed as if it was still in use. Paintings of Tae and Dae and a man and a woman were all over the walls of the room.

"The man and woman you see in that picture is my mom and dad. We were so happy till that incident" Tae began and everyone could see his hands visibly shaking when he pointed at the man and woman in the paintings. Jungkook noticed and held his hand reassuring him that he is there for him.

"After, my parents died. I left their room intact as this was the only memory of them left but now I want to let go." Tae said his voice cracking at the end.

"I am not saying I will get rid of everything but I want to move on and become better that is why I am no longer hiding the contents of this room from you." Tae continued

"This was the same room my parents died. I want to let go of all the painful memories of the past and be happy." Tae said tears finally falling from his eyes.

All of them, look at him with hurt in their eyes. Of course Tae always appeared strong to them. He helped them and even made them his trusted inner circle when they are no where near noble men. Seeing him this broken made them sad so they did what came to their mind first.

"You have us Tae. Let's make new memories.Let them go so that their souls can rest in peace"Yoongi spoke and the others nodded in agreement.

"Yes Tae , we are here for you." Jungkook assured before pulling him in a hug and Tae burst out crying.

The rest looked at them and decided to join the hug making a group hug. They didn't know the future but they had eachother which was enough to know that the future was bright.
