The Battle

Today was the day that I face my old enemy. And I mean old enemy. I can't believe that I would ever go against my own twin, my own flesh. But now, I'm really having doubts about everything in life. I looked at my small sector and hoped with all my heart that we don't die. Especially Alec. I turned back around and saw the huge army approach us. This army was massive, even bigger than the Volturi's. Among them, I saw a girl with dark green hair. Her eyes were a pale neon green. Around her, leaves whooshed violently, creating a type of weird dress. She must be Venus. Next to her a boy with black hair and the scariest red eyes I have ever seen in my life. He had fire dancing on his palms. Hmm....that must be Rage. On the other side of the battle formation, I saw a girl that seemed to be disappearing ever few seconds. She had light blond hair and eyes that didn't have pupils. Creepy. Must be Brianna. I squinted my eyes and saw a boy with light brown hair. He seemed to be fading away....like a ghost. Hmm....Royce. I peered over to where Renesmee was standing, hand in hand with Ryan. I don't know why but my heart seemed to hurt...just a fraction. I wasn't in love with him so why was I slightly jealous? I shook my head to clear my thoughts, only to earn a smirk from Renesmee. I growled slightly, showing my fangs. I looked away and tried to see who else looked threatening. I looked up and saw a girl with....wings? They got a vampire who could fly?! The fuck Renesmee?! She had white hair and that smile that signaled 'I'm gonna kill you bitch.' From what my shadows informed me of, her name was Lily. Such a gentle name for an assassin. I shifted my gaze from the fairy vampire to the little boy who looked not older than five months. Did they create an immortal child? Then it slowly started shifting into a grey wolf. Oh shit. A shapeshifter too?! And into more than one thing?! It saw my gaze and smirked, shifting into....Alec?! Oh fucking shit. I'm screwed. Already waving the white flag of surrender. This little kid, Jimmy, will be the death of me. When they were about thirty yards away from us, they stopped as a whole. Did they practice this or something? Renesmee and Ryan walked forward, earning a gasp from Alec.

"R-Ryan?" he whispered.

Ryan shifted his gaze to Alec, his mouth opening in shock.

"Alec?" he asked, almost uncertain of his own voice.

He nodded and slowly walked towards his old friend. I let out a hand to stop him, giving him a warning glare.

"No." I ordered.

He reluctantly walked back in line with Jane, his eyes never leaving his friend. Aro pretended not to notice this exchange and walked on to face the two leaders.

"Renesmee and Ryan....what a delight." he said, feigning happiness.

"Cut the crap Aro and surrender." said Renesmee, her voice full of arrogance.

I growled and got in a defensive crouch. Aro looked at me.

"Peace." he said.

I reluctantly returned to my original position, glaring with all my hatred at my twin.

"Now now Renesmee....you know that it is a crime to stand against the Volturi." said Aro.

She laughed, oh that devilish laugh.

"And why is that?" she asked.

"Because we are the supreme rulers of the vampire world. Standing against us would mean certain death." said Aro.

"But what if we win this fight? Then the vampire world would be under our control." said Renesmee, 'innocently'.

"You will never win the fight against us. We have ruled for many thousands of years." hissed Caius.

For once, I agree with mister sadistic guy.

"Oh...but just like all monarchies....they have to end one day...don't they? Just like you destroyed the Romaninan coven, we will destroy you." hissed Renesmee, all sense of childness gone.

"Then prove it sister. Are you truly all that powerful? Or are you bluffing?" I asked, stepping out of formation.

She laughed.

"You of all people should know how powerful I am. I took away your family. I took away your love. I took away your everything. You are nothing but a worthless little bitch." she spat.

I stiffened but did not pounce.

"But you forgot dear sister that we are twins. Therefore, if I was nothing but a wortless little bitch, then you are nothing but the sister of that same worthless little bitch." I retorted, smirking.

She growled.

"Watch your mouth Volturi." she hissed at me.

"Watch your mouth Cullen." I snarled back.

And with that, both sides collided in battle. I focused on their main offensive weapons. I looked around and saw Venus using her vines to strangle vampires to death. I smirked and concentrated, willing poison ivy to grow around her like a cage. She snapped and screamed. Finally, I added a layed of roses inside the cage, letting the thorns out at once. With a final scream, I knew that she was dead. I burnt the cage just in case. Moving onto the next one. Rage was going around, burning all the vampires he could find. I hissed. Time for a taste of his own medicine. I created a ring of fire around us, a dome of darkness surrounding us like an arena. He hissed and turned tow rads me.

"If it isn't Miss Volturi. Your sister told us so much about you." he smirked, wlaking towards me.

I laughed.

"Oh I'm sure all the things she said were absolutley delightful." I said sarcastically.

His laughed reverberated off teh dome.

"You know what? I might actually like you. If you weren't on their side of course." he said.

"Me too. But guess what? I am proud to be on their side." I said, dark flames licking my fingertips.

He smirked.

"Did you ever hear of the saying 'don't fight fire with fire'? Well guess what? I suggest you take that advice." he smirked.

I laughed.

"The saying is 'fight fire with fire'. Not 'don't fight fire with fire' you dumb ass." I sassed.

He growled and charged at me. I sank my fingers into him, burning him from the inside out. He screamed and screamed until he was nothing but a pile of ash. The dome went down and I saw that Alec and Jane already killed Brianna and Royce. Surprisingly, might I add. Suddenly, something hooked me by the collar and flung me to a tree. I hung onto it just in time to see none other than Lily. She was smirking at me, her wings proudly being displayed. I laughed and grew shadow wings of my own. Her smile faded, replaced by a look of hatred. She flew towards me, at full speed. At the last minute, I jumped and watch as she crashed into the tree, falling onto her butt. I smirked and threw a match at her, watching as she became nothing but dust.
