Yang Fude could only regret that he had been so greedy and decided to approach Su Tang this morning. If he hadn't done that, he wouldn't have ended up offending Young Master Luo, trying to steal the chicken and only losing the rice for his trouble.

Su Tang snorted, "Pay the damages as agreed before anything else. It's ten taels of silver."

"You're dreaming, I don't have any money for you." Yang Fude wasn't afraid of a peasant girl, so he was much less polite to Su Tang.

Su Tang raised an eyebrow. "Ah~, I'm just a little peasant girl, all I have are my small skills but, as it turns out, even small stores will just openly bully people like this. I think I'd better sell my soap on my own in the future, after all, after this experience how could I dare to cooperate with a bigger store?"

"And what about our contract?" Su Tang put away the silver and then asked him for the contract.

Yang Fude glanced over at Luo Xingchen and said, "I don't have it anymore."

Su Tang followed his gaze and looked at Luo Xingchen, and the young man took out the contract. Su Tang looked closely at the paper and saw that it was indeed the same contract she had signed with Yang Fude before. When she saw that, she took it, stowed it away with her own copy, and then said, "Well, thank you for your care until now Shopkeeper Yang. Let's cooperate again in the future!"

"Bah!" Yang Fude was so angry that he wanted to swallow Su Tang whole, but in the end, he just turned and stalked out of the private room.

"Ah~, why are some people so upset even though the world is so beautiful?" Su Tang murmured faintly before taking a sip of her tea.

Luo Xingchen looked at the little girl in front of him and commented, "Miss Su is really impressive."

Su Tang easily returned his gaze and replied, "Naturally, I can't compare to Young Master Luo."

Luo Xingchen's eyes glinted with disbelief, and he seemed to want to say something in response to that but Su Tang quickly cut him off. She said, "Young Master Luo should have found me because he wanted to talk about cooperating on the matter of the soap, right?"

"I'll buy your recipe. One hundred taels." When Luo Xingchen heard Su Tang suddenly change the topic he wasn't sure if he should breathe a sigh of relief or feel more nervous, but he soldiered on and put forward his conditions to Su Tang.

"My recipe is not for sale!" Su Tang looked extremely calm despite him throwing out a huge figure like a hundred taels.

She had never heard of this so-called Luo family from Beikou, nor did she know what kind of person this Young Master Luo was, but she could at least see from Yang Fude's reactions that Luo Xingchen was a person who had huge resources.

Until now, she couldn't make much money, not because the things she wanted to sell were bad, but rather because she didn't have access to a big enough market.
