Although Luo Xingchen was a woman, she had been pretending to be a man from a very early age, so she was naturally much different from most women in this era. Her way of speaking naturally was a bit rougher and a bit less graceful.

And because it was rare for her to meet another woman that she could communicate with and who appreciated her, she was happy to go a little out of her way for the other party.

When Su Tang heard her obvious intentions, she smiled, rolled up her sleeves, and asked her, "Can you make a fire?"

"Ah?" Luo Xingchen was dumbfounded, but quickly responded laughingly, "No."

"So useless but still talks about bonds of friendship, you're the first type of person like this I've met. You can at least go and wash the vegetables, right?" Su Tang complained jokingly.

Luo Xingchen looked down at the basket that had been stuffed into her arms and pouted, "How am I useless? I found the grill, didn't I?!"

"Come on, I'll make you something delicious, something you've never eaten before. If you want to have breakfast, hurry up." Su Tang ignored her chattering and pushed her away to wash vegetables.

Watching the other girl squatting and washing the vegetables in the basin of water, Su Tang secretly smiled before turning around to build the fire.

Once the fire was made, Su Tang grabbed a knife, took a fresh grass carp out from the space, and, with practiced movements, quickly gutted the fish and then set it on the grill. By this time, the fire was plenty hot, and the fish was soon roasting properly.

Su Tang moved very quickly. She began to roast the fish on her side, sent Luo Xingchen to wash the vegetables on the other side, and also began to work on creating the base for the soup in the moments in between.

"All you're doing is roasting a fish, right? But by the way, Su Tang, what kind of thing is this? Is it a fruit? It seems quite delicious." Luo Xingchen couldn't do anything but wash the vegetables, so she was soon done with her task and walked over to Su Tang curiously. Once she arrived, she picked up a tomato, looked at it strangely, and asked what it was.

"That is a tomato, a vegetable. However, it can be eaten as if it were a fruit, and it can be eaten directly or cooked. Go ahead and try it if you like. The business I wanted to talk to you about today has something to do with this tomato." Su Tang responded.

"Really, I can eat it?" Luo Xingchen looked at the red thing in her hand. She thought it looked like it might taste good, but she hesitated a little to take a bite. She had never seen this kind of thing before and she wasn't sure it was really edible.

It wasn't that she didn't trust Su Tang. But, after all, Su Tang already knew her big secret, and she knew that she was a member of the Luo family from Beikou, so clearly poisoning and then ransoming her could be considered a fairly efficient way to make money.

However, the big advantage, or sometimes disadvantage, of dealing with smart people was that it was fairly easy to communicate intentions without stupidly saying things out loud.

Su Tang quickly spotted her hesitant look, and speechlessly took the tomato, cut it in half, took a big bite out of one half herself, and then gave her the remaining half to Luo Xingchen. "It's not poison, okay."

These tomatoes were all grown in the space, so the taste was naturally extraordinary. Su Tang's eyes narrowed in delight while she savored the mouthful of sweet, sour, and delicious taste.

Soon the appetizing fragrance of tomato wafted out, much more strongly now that it was cut, and Luo Xingchen couldn't help but gulp before quickly taking a bite herself. The taste conquered her instantly and she muttered, "It's so delicious."

Su Tang wasn't surprised by her reaction at all. The charm of tomatoes was probably something irresistible. Otherwise, in her previous life, people wouldn't joke that tomatoes and eggs were the national staple foods of China. There were basically no Chinese people who didn't like tomatoes or eggs, unless they were allergic.

Plus, tomatoes weren't only good as stand-alone dishes, they could also be used in various sides, or as a seasoning, or ketchup, or in a variety of other sauces. They were very versatile food.

Luo Xingchen ate the tomato in several large bites, and then looked at up Su Tang, "I've never seen this thing, the tomato, before. Where did you get it? Also, the business you're talking about is selling these tomatoes?"
