27- surprise

Sid got out of the car left to his room. He returned after a shower and joined his parents for dinner.

After dinner, he decided to walk back to his room and call Sana, but his dad collapsed his hope palace.

"Where are you going? I said want to talk to you!" His dad said getting his attention. He nodded his head and sat on the sofa like an obedient kid.

"What is going on? I heard from the manager that you deposited three million in company's account. From where you got that money?" His dad asked suspiciously.

"I sold my sports bike. So, I deposited it back in your account." He whispered, playing with his fingers.

"What is the need to sell it? And don't tell me you brought that cheap bike!" Johnson snapped with irritation.

"Hmm, sorry, but I own that. It may be cheap, but I gifted it myself." He mumbled, not looking up.

"From when you started thinking right things?" His dad asked in surprise.

"Stop scaring him. My son is always right. I told you already he will learn everything one day and look today he is so good and knows how to earn with hard work. I'm so proud of my son." His mom smiled, admiring Sid.

"I should accept this, I'm happy my son." His dad smiled. Sid felt so happy hearing his dad's good words about him. He always heard scolding and mocking since childhood, but today it happened, but it didn't last long until he heard something else from his dad.

"Maya got married and I'm so glad you got that project and saved our goodwill. So, it's your time to get your gift. Here it is!" He smiled, forwarding a photograph. He looked confused hearing him. He took the photo and glared at it.

"Lily?" He asked, confused.

"Yeah, her dad asked you as his son-in-law." His dad smiled.

"What?"

"Yeah! As you always wanted, you are going to marry Lily, the only daughter of Edward." He announced proudly.

"When I asked, I want lily" He Uttered in disbelief.

"I have seen you laying eyes on her when we went on their business party and that's the best choice, she is a genius businesswoman and this match will be best," Johnson said with joy.

"But!" He uttered in shock.

"It's ok Sid, I understand. Get ready tomorrow you both go on a date and discuss about your marriage." His dad said before making his way to his room.

"She is looking so good, Sid. She will keep you happy, my son," His mom said with joy and followed his dad after kissing his forehead with love.

He was shocked hearing out all storming to his room he kicked out the table in frustration.

"No, I love my Sana. I should tell them about my love. She is my life. I should tell him." He murmured in frustration.

The night went sleepless for both thinking about lives. One is worried about losing and the other is confused about leaving.

Next day,

Sid went to his office normally but wants to discuss this issue with her. Being a heavy day, she was so busy. He was so stressed up thinking about his dad's decision.

"My stupidity, I thought that lily is rich, and I will be more powerful marrying her but today I don't want power I changed my mind I need love. I need my Sana and now I want my family." He struggled, brushing his hair, frustrated.

He collapsed on his chair and scrolled his mail inbox. In the bulk of unread mails, he found an important mail from a US company.

Reading the mail, his sad face turned into cheery. He jumped with joy, finding his offer letter attached to the mail.

"I got Job, I can flee away from these people and have my life with Sana. I should tell me that now We can live happily forever." He cried excitedly.

He ran out of his cabin to meet her, but then an idea popped into his mind. He changed his direction towards the manager and told him to cancel his afternoon meetings and left, grabbing his bike keys.

He reached a premium jewelry store and chosen a ring for her. A sweet smile flicked on his face, imaging her.

"Pack this, please," He said to the sales manager.

"Sir, cash or card?" The person asked for billing the ring.

"Card" He mumbled giving him a card. The card declined as it costs beyond his available balance.

"Sir, your card is declined! Do you have another card?" The person asked. He found the reason and checked his wallet. A platinum card fell in his eyes, which belongs to Maya. He thought for a while and closed his wallet.

"Keep it with you, I will be back in sometime." He said to the manager and rushed to their apartment.

He opened his wardrobe and got his box where he kept his savings and realized that it's not even 20% of the ring value. He felt so bad on himself for being incapable to gift a ring to his wife.

He dropped the box away in tears like a kid cruising his faith. After battling his helplessness, he whipped his tears to clear his vision and seen his Rolex watch lying on the floor, which fell out of his box. He grabbed the watch and left.

He mortgages his watch in exchange for cash.

"Please, don't sell it. It's my late mother's last gift. I will repay soon along with interest." e requested him before taking the cash. He brought the ring and started decorating her apartment to make it a best night.

Another side,

Sana was so lost in thoughts when her phone ringed getting her to ground reality. She picked up the call little disturbed.

"What!"

"Hey! You didn't give me documents? I should register them." Noah asked with hidden evilness.

"Hmm, not needed"

"Means, did you registered," he asked to confirm.

"No, plan changed! He changed for good, I don't want to misuse his too much faith in me."

"Wonderful, so no revenge"

"Noah, he ruined my dignity and if I do the same, what is the difference between him and me!! He ruined my life, my future, and reason for my tears. I don't want to make him criminal again. About my revenge and forgiveness, I will handle myself." She scoffed in anger.

"Sorry, I don't"

"Noah, thanks for the help and I think here my plan ends I want to restart my life. Thanks for everything. Goodbye!" She said hanging the call.

Screen freezes on Sid's excited face and her teary confused face.
