To say that Ethan was thrilled would be an understatement. Ethan couldn't help but let out a laugh while Sunoo was glaring at him across the cafeteria. Yeah, scratch that. He was way more than thrilled. Why the hell are you laughing, bro? Starlted Ethan looked away from Sunoo and toward his friends, who were already staring at him.
"Huh?" he asked.
"I asked what you were staring at. You seem quite lost. " Ni-ki stated, making Jay join in.
" Did you even pay attention to our conversation?" asked Jay. He continued after Ethan nodded, "Apparently there's a new girl in school that Sunghoon has already set his eyes on".
"She's Jake's cousin who just got enrolled here," Ni-ki muttered, which made Ethan raise his brows at him.
"How do you know that ?"
"She was at basketball practice today. At first I thought she was his girlfriend, but then Jake introduced her to us as his cousin."
"She's Jake's cousin. How are you supposed to get her?"Ethan asked while looking at Sunghoon, dumbfounded .
"C'mon bro, have some faith in me, just give me one or two weeks."
"Ethan was about to say something when the bell rang." Before leaving the cafeteria, he didn't forget to look in Sunoo's direction.

"Mr. Kim, do you perhaps know the answer?The teacher asked ."
"I think it's 23%, sir."
"Well-done,does the whole class approve of this answer? "
"I don't,professor".
Sunoo rolls his eyes. He doesn't have to turn around to know who that voice belongs to.
"The answer should be 22.4%, to be exact " Ethan stated proudly.
🌸 Sunoo has never wanted to strangle Ethan so bad. Ethan has always been like that every single time Sunoo had to answer a question in class Ethan would always have something to comment on.
It was always Ethan this Ethan that. No matter how much he studied no matter how many sleepless nights he spends in the library. Sunoo would still end up behind Ethan in second place. Even he would admit how fucking perfect Ethan was. The boy had everything from rich parents to a loving father who cared about him Sunoo hated how much he would always envy Ethan's life, he hated how he would get those top marks without effort, and lastly, he hated how the chances of Ethan winning the scholarship were at the highest right now. Sunoo couldn't help but feel like a disappointment to his Mother. 🌸
"But Professor, it didn't say to be exact on the question sheet, it say's "round up"which would be 20%" Sunoo replied.
"But wouldn't it be smarter to at least calculate the answer before guessing the round up" answered Ethan from the back row of the classroom.
Having enough from Ethan, Sunoo decides to turn around just to be greeted by Ethan already staring at him and of course with a smirk on his face.
"Excellent Mr. Lee, Mr. Kim you may sit down back."The professor states causing the eye contact between both Ethan and Sunoo to end.
