Review:
Reading it mtl when I'm sick, it successfully making my headache worse. The plot is common rebirth and revenge. The fun or the bad is it's mixed with a little bit reverse harem. I think it's interesting to have 2 ML kinda like Princess Weiyang, I couldn't guess it until midway. I even peak the end and read the ending wrong so it kinda messed up my reading phase. It's really long novels, the chapters just getting longer towards the end so I skipped a lot midway, I may reread it from the middle just for the skipped parts. The politics also dragged on, due to mtl version I couldn't grasp the relationship between characters and who's who, there's just too much names.
MC married Su Yulou then she was framed to have affair, she then died due to public condemn. Her brother died drowning due to her stepmother and stepsister. Then she rebirth to 12 yo on the day her brother drown. She rescued him. MC began to plot stepmother and stepsister. From the starts she is smart at schemes blame it to knowing the stepmother and stepsister inside out. Her stepmother was isolated in the house, the stepsister become lame, she married Su Yulou but pregnant with another scum man. The scum man target MC but got stepsister. 2nd ML then poisoned him. The scum man died, after his family knew that stepsister have his son, they make a fuss and want to take him so everyone knew that Su Yulou id cuckold but he accept it from the starts. He never touch the stepsister but because he was jailed and need help from MC father he accept the stepsister and acknowledge her child as his own.
After defeating the stepmother and stepsister, MC become famous as talented and beauty. She got adopted by eldest princess. For information ML generation is the emperor's grandson. There are eldest princess who lost her child and husband, Yan Wang, Jun Wang, Qin Wang, Jin Wang and I think 1 more for the crown prince. There are 2 faction, the crown prince and Qin Wang. ML is the son of Yan Wang and the 2nd ML is the son of Qin Wang. Yan Wang sided with the crown prince (they are full blooded brother), Jin Wang sided with Qin Wang. The other wang are small characters. All of them have a son which is emperor's grandsons and all of them love MC, I think only Jin Wang son didn't love or like MC. There are also other men who love MC seems like either they obsessed or attracted or have good feeling to MC. Even if they are enemies or hate her but in the end it's like a tsundere.
I like how the romance slowly grow up between MC and ML or the 2nd ML. As for the other characters love they just directly like MC. After some politics issue, the emperor died, the crown prince become next emperor. MC cousin already become the crown prince concubine before the old emperor died. She gave birth to eldest son. The crown princess is jealous and repeatedly harming the cousin, MC helped her cousin. Then the crown prince forced MC to marry him as concubine. ML then propose first and MC accept him even though she didn't love him. At this point MC have attracted or touched by the 2nd ML. But at that time 2nd ML is fighting on other area since he lost his father. Not sure why he ended up in neighbor country and ruled them. MC knew she is attracted but because her cousin and family is on crown prince side so she can't be with 2nd ML.
After MC marry ML, the story back to inner schemes. ML have sick older brother. ML mother already died early. ML told MC that his father and crown prince aka current emperor loved MC mother, at first MC mother was promised to ML father but not sure why ML father married ML mother. Then ML mother resent MC mother, she targeted MC mother so MC mother married MC father to save her family, I think like avoid limelight since MC father is meh small officer. Later ML mother knew the truth that actually MC mother is the true lover of ML father, she felt guilty and become sick and died. Then there's a dedicated concubine who took care ML mother, she sacrifice her own child to save ML older brother something like offering the blood or heart. This concubine is currently managing the Yan palace. Then ML older brother who is sick but still have 2 concubines and wife. The wife actually love someone else, I skipped a lot of part so not sure what's the identity but he is ML friend and saved MC. The wife Sun Ruoning and He Lantu, ML friend having affair. ML and the family knew it but never said anything because the older brother is really sick. Then SR hate MC because she knew her secret affair and envy when she saw ML pamper her. MC then retaliate but in the end make her fake death so she can be with her lover. I skipped some parts then MC confront the concubine. The truth is the ML mother died because of the concubine, ML older brother is actually her son and the one who died is ML older brother who also killed by the concubine. The concubine was jailed then died due to poison when MC questioning her. Skipped here.
ML in war, seems like he is abandoned MC who is pregnant in order to protect her. MC thought he really abandoned her. Then MC got poisoned after birth. They told ML that MC died during giving birth. ML become lifeless. Then he knew MC is in coma, she need the 2nd ML help. ML knew that it was trap but he still gave MC to the 2nd ML. 2nd ML then poison ML so he become blind. MC got amnesia. Skipped here. 3 years later MC went back, she recovered her memory. She met ML who is blind. ML then chase her and his son. He didn't force MC to get back with him but he just stayed with MC. ML poison acting up then the doctor said he need to soak in MC hot spring or in 2nd ML area hot spring for 3 years. MC then accept him for 3 years and make up. Oh ML is the regent, current emperor is MC cousin son.
Then 2nd ML show up, he become crazy. When he met MC he become like child. So the 3 of them live together with MC son. ML beg MC to leave 2nd ML but MC felt guilty because 2nd ML saved her a lot so she want to take care of him. She knew it hurts ML but didn't care. Here's where I began didn't like MC. Before married she ask ML and 2nd ML help knowing they love her. Now she already forgave ML but forced him to accept 2nd ML. In the end 2nd ML regain his sanity then MC chased him out. The extra story with 2nd ML ending is much better than the main story ending.
2nd ML already become noble or general in neighbor country, he took 15 cities and demand to exchange them with MC. ML is fighting in the border. Then MC was sent to the 2nd ML. Here are the part where chapter are really long so I skipped a lot. MC got kidnapped then she got rescued by 2nd ML. In between, MC brother is held by someone then MC rescue him and took it back to her country. She gave him to ML. 2nd ML then chased her and got angry because she lied to him. MC then went back to 2nd ML, she never thought to leave. Here's the big difference in attitude when MC with ML. MC got angry with ML when her brother dying, she is frustated with the royal family. The crown prince target her, 2nd ML obsessed with her, then the princess family who at first forced MC brother to marry also forced MC brother to separate once he is sick. MC lashed out her hatred toward ML. MC and ML interaction also seems bland compared to MC with 2nd ML. At first I thought 2nd ML is the ML because MC interact with him more.
They got married. 2nd ML live with his brother who marry the nation noble daughter so it's MC sis in law. The sis-in-law's sister also live together because she target 2nd ML. Then 2nd ML got mad and chased his brother and wife out. Some war here, 2nd ML become emperor. Ten years later, MC brother visit MC. MC got 3 sons and 1 daughter. In the main story with ML, MC got 1 son and mixed twin.
