Summary:
Bai XiaoHu has been a nine-tailed fox since birth and is always proud of her nine big and fluffy tails. However, when she was going through ‘heaven’s test’, the judgmental lightning burned all nine of her tails, leaving her with an empty back.

Review:
I'm in the mood with apocalypse story. This novel actually more about cultivation or world end, not a fighting zombie/mutant story. It has a good joke, I had fun reading this novel.
MC lost all her tails after lightning tribulation. She is the only 9 tail fox left, her family already moved to upper realm. She then remembered that she gave 1 tail to a stray cat so she track him down and went to the apocalypse world. She met ML who is a team leader and has lightning ability. MC at first terrified with ML ability and ML thought MC is afraid of him. Gradually they become close. MC gave away items from her space to save the world, anti-infection zombie, anti infertility, anti mutant insect etc.
In the end it was revealed that the world is actually a magic weapon to seal ML. MC has dispute with a Chiwu tribe, she had engagement with the young patriarch then she made a fuss or killed someone, with her family protection she was punished to isolation in mountain. ML killed the Chiwu patriarch to help MC, so he was punished and caged in the magic weapon. He can't go out and will repeat the apocalypse world that meant to be destroyed until ML is willing to die.
MC used her own core to nourish ML until he regain his form (cat demon with 9 tails). MC said they can revert the world and she can be saved with the net she wove. ML agreed with her but secretly he cut off his 9 tails and gave it to her, he plan to send her out of magic weapon by killing himself. MC woke up and stop him, she then make contract with the magic weapon. They return the time before apocalypse. Both ML and MC lost their memory. ML got a hunch to find MC. MC still thinking she went into this world to find a tail. In the end they met MC father who then restore ML memory, MC father then left. ML and MC cultivate together and fix the magic weapon. In the end they ascended together.
