Summary:
The first time Jiang Rou saw that man was in the interrogation room. He looked Desperate, silent and sinister. His fierce gaze and sarcastic smile on the corners of his mouth. Author’s Note: The OG male lead’s daughter died because of campus bullying in her previous life. The bullies went unpunished, so the male lead planned revenge but ultimately did not do the last step. The OG male lead did not commit mu*der in his previous life, and the case was a wrongful conviction. The present male lead is a good person from beginning to end.
Review:
It's a good story but overtime I got bored because it's all about daily life. The conflicts are like background story either narrative or just a gossips from others.
MC enrolled in police academy, when she is about to graduate she helps her master in his work. His master took ML case. The case only said ML took revenge but not much explanation, it's exactly as the summary and author note.
Then MC transmigrate as ML wife, she was pregnant 7-8 months. ML was in jail due to fighting. OMC want to trick a rich classmate to sleep with her but turns out she slept with ML. There's no story about OMC, only details about her family.
ML father died when he was young, his mother married again 2 times and never care ML. ML is famous as gangster. After MC transmigrate, she took care ML. ML felt touch and began to like MC. He knows MC is different from OMC but he didn't say anything.
ML went out and got scam in MLM. He took back money from MLM. MC want him to return the money to police but ML refuse. MC got angry and went out, ML began to panic and promise her. He coax MC.
ML then helped MC selling food. After his daughter was born he went south to find opportunity. MC studied and plan to take exam, learning chinese medicine. ML has close brothers, ZQ and WT already married, they become distant after that. JY and ZJ are still close to ML. JY learn to become doctor, only he who keep studying. ZJ is a simple man who followed ML. He then marry a woman who has a son. The woman is capable and took care the family.
ML mother only care about her current family and her stepson. She doesn't have other child beside ML. After ML and MC move away, there will be some story about her. MC and ML knew it from their neighbor. ML mother got into fight with her current family and hope ML will back her up. ML stop caring for her.
OMC mother also want to pester MC. Again MC knew it from her neighbor and just said she can call police if the mother come again. OMC mother has 4 daughters and a son. The 1st is obedient and filial to the mother even after her marriage. The 2nd was married to a supermarket owner, in the end she run away. 3rd is OMC. The last daughter was gave away because they are too poor.
MC then heard the younger sister is miserable in her adopted family. The adopted family have a son after adopting MC sister so they use her as free labor. She is 14 yo and was forced to marry 30 man. MC ask ML to save her, MC then move her account as ML sister.
The story is focus on daily life of ML and MC. How they take care their friends family problem... In the end it was revealed that MC found her original family but there's no her. Her parent only has 1 son. There's no extra chapter about ML case in 1st line. The ending is as common as it can be.
