I have read this novel a long ago and just finished reread it again. I feel conflicted rating this novel, I thought I wrote the review but turns out not yet. Now when I reread the story I got bored and easily fall asleep but for sure when I read it for first time it seems good and addicting. Reading it on mtl may also affect my mood since it's hard to read. I skipped a lot for this 2nd read so not sure if I missed some plot.
MC married to a scholar, Shen Yurong. both MC and SC are from a county, MC father is a magistrate in small county while SC is like his student. SC got first place and move to capital with MC and his family. MC restrain herself to support SC. Then she was framed by SC and princess Yongning. PY love SC so she framed MC having affair, MC got miscarriage due to this. SC didn't do anything, he just let PY. MC died and rebirth as Jiang Li, first daughter of Prime Minister or something. In a sum JL father is the emperor's teacher and is a big minister. JL is daughter from 1dt wife, JL mother died then her father remarried. MC wake up in a temple because JL was framed causing her stepmother to miscarry. MC scheme around defeating the stepmother family and got revenge to her ex husband SY and PY.
I didn't realize I haven't published this review and stopped the review midway. I don't remember much about the story and ML. I think I'll edit the review once I reread it again later.
