Review:
I thought I already reviewed this novel but I couldn't find it in my list. This is one of my favorite novels. But it is really hard to read it in mtl and the translation was stopped. I tried to re-read it on mtl and can only goes until 88 but I can't make sense most arcs. It seems a transmigration story but no explanation no system. It's like a compilation of short stories. Not much conflict, most stories only consist of MC and ML love mode.
1. President slag
ML has ex-wife. He was pursued by the ex-wife during school then he went along and marry her. He never care about his wife. Then the wife asked divorced and marry his best friend. After the divorced, ML then realize his feeling toward the ex-wife. He use women as pleasure. MC is his new woman. MC is a vase actress. She took care ML when he was drunk. ML like her homey feeling and began to love her. They just get along then married. They had a daughter. The daughter become naughty because ML always protect her. Then MC knew the daughter mischief. She cried and told ML. ML got angry and threaten the daughter. The daughter got scared and never oppose MC again.
2. Elegant Maniac
ML is rebirth. He was an illegitimate son, abandoned by his mother. He was adopted to Xu family. The family got bankrupt then they had their own son. They began to abuse ML. MC met him during childhood. They got close. ML met his father who want to take him back. ML father want to use him as scapegoat because the family got sued. ML promise him to make the family better because he is a genius in research. In last life he make zombie virus. ML then destroy his father family. He marry MC and live happily.
3. Demon scum
ML is a demon, he destroyed a sect in 1 night. MC is captured, she stayed with ML. ML cultivation decreased, MC run away with him. MC protect him until he revert to mortal child. MC live with him in mortal world. Then ML suddenly got back his power. They got together and explore the world.
4. General slag
ML is a general who helped the young emperor, he act as regent. He made MC to marry the emperor. MC is a daughter of general. She was used by her father and brother as pawn. ML then love MC, he made her as queen but dispose the young emperor. ML then marry her.
5. Liang Ke Apocalypse
ML is in wheelchair. He controlled a lot companies then he got car accident arranged by his mother and stepbrother. When he is in hospital, the apocalypse starts. His bodyguards leave him. MC is his nurse, she went to check on him and protect him. MC got power ability. ML began to love her but he didn't say his ability because he want MC stayed with him. ML then show his ability is controlling air. He also can walk. They made mercenary group and got 4 children.
6. Long Si Dragon and elf
I'm not sure if MC is mermaid or elf. ML is for sure a dragon. He was imprisoned for life at the bottom of the sea. MC keep him company every day for a long time. They then find a way to freed ML. Then life happily.
7. School and game world
I skipped this arc. In a sum ML and MC both like to play around. MC played a game with ML best friend. ML then joined their game and get close to MC.
8. Zuo Shengyan military
It was revolution era where cheongsam and western culture began. MC is ML son teacher. ML son is actually his brother son. His brother marry a spy. ML tried to break them up without knowing that his sis-in-law is pregnant. Both of them died after ML nephew born. ML promise to marry MC in 5 years after the nephew graduate. But then there's war. After the war is over there's news that ML died. 2 years later MC went travelling and met ML who hide in a village, not sure why. There's extra that doesn't make sense. It's like ML rebirth then tried to find MC. MC didn't become his son teacher but keep avoid him, again not sure why.
9. Liang Ze actor
I stopped reading in this arc, it was like cut off and change to new arc. ML is a emperor actor. He is famous then he become wary of newcomer who is similar to him. He met MC in a party and try to use her to obstruct the newcomer. Then suddenly ML love MC but he still try to help MC who seems to like the newcomer.
There's also a failure arc or tragedy arc. ML is a photographer, he has art exhibition. His photos only show a part of human body but it can make people awe. Actually he kidnapped 4 women. MC is the 4th. He abused them then took pictures. Then he love MC. MC seems like amnesia. ML act as her lover. He gambled to get MC, he purposely got caught. MC died when he was in prison. MC died because she tried to remember the past. ML eat her corpse then suicide after a month.
