Summary:

Maybe I would rate it 5 if I'm not reading it on mtl. The mtl is a bit hard to understand. I also got bored on early chapters since it's full of fluff between MC and ML. The story didn't get forward until chapter 80-100.
MC transmigrated to cultivation world. The system told her to get close to ML so he can absorb energy and unlock skills.
ML come to Xuanyuan sect and said he was sent by Meng Yuanwu, the respected elder who defeat and sealed Huang Shi the great devil or demon. MC is a mortal without immorality aptitude. She bought a donkey and ask it to take her into xuanyuan sect. The donkey surprisingly know the road. MC join the test with ML. There's lake that will hurt the person if he is not pure. MC didn't get hurt because she is pure but she got drown since she can't swim. ML help her and took her to shore. In the end MC accepted as Yu Sukong disciple. MC live in the same island as ML. ML took her to each her class because she doesn't have any magic weapon and can't cultivate.
ML can store cultivation to MC since he is not human. MC didn't know anything in cultivation and thought it was normal dual cultivation. She is gifted in calculation, she can dismantle formation since it's similar to algorithm. But she tried to hide it because she doesn't like in the limelight. She has low EQ and extremely shy. She only interact with ML who is domineering.
ML slowly like MC who is clumsy and can't do anything without his protection. Her only ability is calculating formation.
Someone tried to kill MC after she revealed her talent. I skipped these parts. But it was revealed an elder was the culprit because he thought MC is Huang Shi the demon. Because MC understand the earth formation (unclear formation name). That formation is created by Huang Shi and was broken by Meng Yuanwu. Only the 2 of them understand it. In the end ML kill the elder within his own formation.
MC went down to hunt demon with ML. MC then tried to convert moth demon. The moth live in harem, the rumor is the king was bewitched by the moth demon. In truth the king sold his own soul for the kingdom stability, he also make contract with the moth no to hurt his people. A sect fellow, Meng Yaolan (the descendant of Meng Yuanwu) trick MC and ML. MC tried to protect the moth demon so she can convert her. But turns out the backlash went to the king who feed the formation with his own blood. The king died along with the moth. There's a author note that said the moth demon is actually part of ML mother who is former Dong Kingdom. She thought the king is her lover so she died along with him when the contract is broken.
MC eyes got hurt and become blind. ML took her away and live in Xiangliang area. ML retrieve some of his memories. He knew MC early on. ML is actually a magic weapon created by Huang Shi by sacrificing 999 (not sure the exact num, in sum a lot people). ML was a prince of Dong Kingdom, his mother is a fallen empress. When ML was born, his mother already in cold palace. ML was abused a lot. Then he found MC in a mirror. MC is an experiment product in modern world. She only has a small mirror to accompany her in her cell. She know there are 100 girls like her and the other went to manic and executed. She is afraid she will become crazy too so she often talk to the mirror. Then she found ML. MC and ML pitied each other, they tried to help each other. MC become blind, at the same time ML was skinned and sacrificed becoming magic weapon. His true body is pool of red blood and skeleton, he is relieved that MC is blind and can't see him. MC was connected to the big computer, her brain is used to control big computer. She will die if she went crazy. She used the computer power to calculate and help ML break free from Huang Shi. ML killed Huang Shi, MC break the earth formation that sealed ML. ML also killed Meng Yuanwu. Then he use soul control to MC so she can kill all researchers and get her freedom.
MC went into shock after ML left the control. She tried to call ML but failed because ML is battling with Meng Yuanwu.
Not sure how, then MC negotiate with ML world consciousness to save ML. The world want MC to kill ML but MC refuse. She just want to save ML. Then the world agree for MC accompany ML so he didn't destroy the world. MC then erase ML memory to forget about her so ML can kill Meng Yuanwu.
ML then went to Xuanyuan sect and disguise as disciple. He then met MC. MC is always afraid she is Huang Shi because Meng Yaolan told her. ML assured her that she is not. Meng Yaolan took MC to lure ML. MC break free and told the others about the truth. That Huang Shi is actually just born from a river then he fell in love with Meng Yuanwu. But Meng Yuanwu directly disperse him and told him in disgust. Huang Shi then create a magic weapon and took ML skin so he was not hated by Meng Yuanwu. So everyone know ML is Huang Shi. Meng Yuanwu didn't want to admit that she actually love Huang Shi. She want to revenge on MC and ML who killed Huang Shi. She also took over her descendant body for revenge. Xuanyuan sect become number 1 because Meng Yuanwu who break the formation and kill Huang Shi. But the truth it's not her. Some monks retreat after knowing the truth.
ML come and rescue MC, he killed other monks then threw Meng Yuanwu to her own monster. MC and ML live happily on Xiangliang area.
