i never thought i would get bored so easily in this life. everyday if the same. i wake up, do my morning routine, go to work, go to the studio, nightly routine, and then go to sleep. yes today is slightly different than yesterday but it's all pretty much the same.

i shouldn't be complaining because i've been way less miserable than i used to be in london. is it my fault that i've been pushed to be the "perfect" daughter until i found myself at a breaking point? maybe i did give up, but i did it for me, for my own sanity.

i will continue to chose me first before anything or anyone else. i've been though way too much shit to back away now. twenty one years later, this is where my life begins.

"snap out of it v, it's a busy day, i need you in this universe, not in lala land." aaliyah said. "i swear this place has gotten busier and busier since you came around."

"what can i say, i'm everyone's cup of tea. girls, boys, non binarys, the ugly, the fugly, the cute, the hot and the creepy." i shrugged.

"go see if some customers need any help, i can't deal with you right now." she shooed me away while i laughed away.

i spotted a group of girls looking like they're in an outfit debate for one of their friends. "how is it going here, do you need any help?" i asked, interrupting.

"see i think we can all agree, she has a great sense of style." one of them said, referring to me. "can you please tell us which of these two jackets look better on her." she pointed at the blonde.

"black leather, for sure." i immediately answered.

"exactly, thank you very much." the girl said and i took that as my queue to leave cause they seemed to have went back into a conversation they were having.

it's weird talking to customers. you never know if they are being friendly because it's the decent thing to do or because they want to be your friend. it always results into me looking like a fool in my own eyes but it's fine. i'm used to having my own company, it gives less headaches.

"a regular customer i see." i smiled at the girl i felt bad for practically kicking her out of the store because she asked way too many questions, before i locked up.

"yeah, i came here with a my sister in law. i thought she might like it here." she shrugged.

"billie, look at this." the mother of tytus emerged from around the corner holding up an oversized shirt. "it's so cool, i thought you might want to get it."

i stood there wondering how small the world proves to be everyday. "oh, hi." the mother looked stunned to see me standing before her.

"you know her?" billie, i grasped her name was, asked.

"uh, she's the girl that found tytus the other day." the mother answered. "thank you so much, again."

"no worries, really." i shook my head.

"what's your name?" she asked.

"violet." i answer with a smile.

"claudia, glad we ran into each other today. the other night my mind was going in all sorts of spirals and i couldn't seem to snap back to reality, i couldn't thank you properly." claudia said.

"hey, tytus calling me pretty is enough." i laughed. "kids are brutally honest and hearing that he agrees with me makes him very cool."

"he wasn't wrong, you're gorgeous." billie said, hiding the fact that she was just inspecting every little part of my body, trying to contain herself.
