Chest infection

~• So here I am back!

This is story from time they were together. Enjoy!!

Zayn's POV:

Concert finished tonight and I was already feeling feverish. I thought it was because I was just tired. But after the concert I felt sudden pain in my chest and my breath was congusted. I thought to take some rest till the next concert which was now after 3 days.

I was siting with lads on couch watching Vampire Diaries when i felt weird, something was wrong with me. I took a moment to analyze myself. There was a slight headache, my chest was in pain, my breathing was uneven.

I was about to stand from couch when I went into fit of coughs. Painful! Bloody painful it was. I felt a jelly like disgusting fluid coming from my throat in my mouth. I ran to the bathroom to throw it. After throwing it i felt someone rubbing my back which to be honest helped me with my pain. I turned to see and it was Louis.

"Mate it sounds awful." He said and i just nodded.

I don't have power to say anything. One cough and all my power drained. I didn't noticed all the other boys were standing there too.

"Zaynie are you alright?" Niall spoke and i shook my head.

"Come lay down on your bed." Liam and i tried to move my legs. They were shaking to I swayed a bit but I felt four arms helping me to stabilize. Harry and Louis were holding me.

"Zayn be careful buddy please." Harry said with concern and I shook my head again which i regreted because it made my head pound more. I know Harry was most sensitive and caring when any of the boys would get ill.

It took me sometime and i lay on my bed as soon as my head touched pillow, it felt like heaven.

"Zayn you are not good buddy. Want to eat something?" Niall asked and I signaled him a No. I don't want to eat specially now. I felt a cold hand touching my forehead.

"Z you are warm too much. Let me check your temperature." Liam said and he went out of room to grab a thermometer.

Before he came, i soon went into second round of coughs. They were more worse than before and were so much painful that i started feeling my vision getting black. But as soon as they ended, it took a few seconds but my vision was back to normal. Thank god I didn't pass out. I felt a hand rubbing my shoulder to sooth me.

I didn't even realize that my eyes were squeezed shut and I have clutched my chest. I felt water in my eyes and I wiped them.

"Z this cough sounds awful. It looks like you have got chest infection or pneumonia I guess." Harry spoke and looked towards me and Louis both. I nodded simply.

"Thank goodness we still have three days till next concert. You will be better till than mate." Louis said and I realized everyone was tired right now. I was feeling a bit guilty and ashamed but I know i can't help myself. I closed my eyes.

"Guys sorry for being a bother. Can someone grab me painkillers?" I spoke and opened my eyes to see them. A tear fell down from my eye which was wiped by Harry.

"Come On Zayn. You are not a bother infact you are a BROTHER! Don't think like that and don't cry please." Louis said which made me and all other lads smile. I was so grateful to have these lads in my life.

"Yeah and don't worry I will grab you some painkillers." Niall said and went out of room.

"I wonder where Payno is?" Harry said frowned. Yeah i was actually thinking the same. The same second Liam entered the room with the thermometer in his hand.

"Sorry took some time." He said and handed me a thermometer which i put in my mouth.

"Come one daddy direction you should be a  responsible man." Louis said dramatically and everyone laughed including me.

"Hey keep thermometer in your mouth don't laugh Z." Liam said and i nodded.

Same time Niall came with a glass of water and few painkillers in his hand. As soon as the thermometer beeped i removed it and without seeing gave it to Liam back.

"103.8 SHIT Z." Liam yelled making me wince. Niall slapped his arm and he mumbled a sorry. He panicked and I understood that. I grab those painkillers and gulped them with few sips of water. As water went down my throat, my throat burnt and it felt like hell as of there were spikes over there hurting.

Louis ran out of room and within a minute came with a cold water soaked rag putting it on my head.

"Z-" before Harry can speak I again went into coughing fit. This time that jelly like fluid came again and with help of Harry I went to bathroom to throw it. As i threw it I looked at it. There was blood in it too and after throwing that my mouth feel disgusted. This time my breathing was heavy.

"Z i think it's not good." Harry said and i washed my face with water to sooth myself. I was in pain totally.

With Harry's help i went back into my room and fell on my bed closing my eyes. Within few minutes my breathing was normal but my chest was totally burning and it was hurting so much.

"Zayn lets get you to doctor please. This blood was not good. And you definitely need a check up." Liam said and remained motionless. I don't know what to do because I was in so much pain.

"Liam he is drained. We need to put him in the car." Louis spoke and soon i felt arms under my legs and on my back. Liam lifted me up in bridal style and carried me to car. He sat with me and Harry drove. Other two lads were in the car too.

I put my head on Liam's shoulder and within seconds drifted off in sleep.

I felt someone shaking me gently and I opened my eyes to meet Niall's eyes.

"Z come on mate lets go inside." He said and I holded his hands for support. We went to doctor and he gently checked my up and asked my questions without annoying me which i was grateful for.

Soon we came out and I went to car with Louis's help this time as Niall and Liam went the pharmacy next to the hospital to grab my medicines.

"See I told you it was an Chest infection. " Louis said with a smirk receiving a slap on his back of head from Harry.

"EXCUSE ME Lou. It was me who said that." Harry said exaggerating and dragging the word Excuse me. I couldn't help but laugh. But i soon coughed again.

"Relax Z relax. I know i have good humor but don't go into that horrible coughing fit because of it." Louis with a smirk again but pouted the next second and I couldn't help but chuckle at his cuteness.

Soon Liam and Niall came back and we drive back to home. I put my head on Niall's shoulder this time and drifted in sleep again while Niall was brushing my hairs with his fingers. 

I was back to myself within three days and I was grateful for the lads. They were with me day n night taking care and helping me out. I was so relieved to have these boys in my life definitely. I wouldn't even know what would i do if i don't have them in my life. They are my brothers and I love them without a doubt.

~• So I am back finally. My exams ended and they went great Thank god!

I came back to social media after 15 days and what do I see!!!!
Louis liked Zayn's post and congratulated Niall on his Album😭❤️ I freaked out! I am crying but happy tears!😭❤️ I am so Happy feels like a surprise after my exams ended.
