CONTINUE JUNGWON'S POV :
at the convenience store

"I think- we- lost them" I said inbetween breathes as we regained ourselves after running for 15 minutes

"I seriously don't know how those two don't ever get tired from running so much- we only lost them because of the red light at the crossing a few roads back" Hayun replied, she may have been complaining about not being tired but she seemed completely fine and not a dying mess like me?

"Let's buy the stuff we need for cookies" I told Hayun and we entered the shop

We bought just a milk chocolate bar, butter and brown sugar. We quickly paid with some combined spare change and left the shop.

It was a lot calmer now

A new song began to play and Hayun started humming to it

"You like this song?" I asked her, as she bopped her head along to the beat

"I don't just like it, I love it! It's my favourite song." Hayun exclaimed

I got out my phone and looked at what was playing

"Flaming Hot Cheetos" by Clario

An interesting name I guess?

I quickly added the song to my 'liked' and put my phone away

" Girlfriend, or girl that's a friend?
it's easy just to pretend.. "

Hayun sang to the lyrics, as I watched her in awe. She kept going on about how I should be a k-pop idol but realistically, she should be one

Her voice was like.. calming. It had a particular sound which made her voice stand out from usual singers

I snapped away from my thoughts and continued to walk home like normal, not staring into her soul like a creep

WHILE THE COOKIES WERE IN THE OVEN :

we sat on the floor, impatiently watching the cookies bake in the oven on our phones. it was now 10:29pm, we got home around an hour ago but who knew it would take so long to make cookies?

Although, we did follow a recipe Hayun insisted on using, which required like melting the butter until it was brown or something? I was really following along, all I did was chop up the chocolate and form the cookies to go on the baking tray.

DING!

they were done

Hayun eagerly took them out of the oven and after a couple minutes she took one off the tray for us to share

She broke it in half and handed me one

"Mmmm" we said in sync as we took our first bite of the cookie

it was like the perfect cookie you could imagine ; crispy on the outside but chewy and soft on the inside, melted chocolate and Hayun sprinkled salt on top, which made it takes just a little bit better
