YOON'S POV :

Shit.

Shit.

Shit.

My legs shook like mad as our homeroom teacher started doing the register.

Hayun, Jungwon, Sunghoon and Jen weren't here.

After she pulled out the punch, which I must say was very accurate and very powerful, she left the classroom but in the other door where our group wasn't standing. It was mayhem.
The bell just rang of course so we had to get to class, but some split off in one direction while some went in the other

"Shit- what do we do?"

"Do we go to class or not?"

"We can't just leave Hayun!"

"What- where are you going?"

"Jen! Come back we can look for her later"

"Shut up Jay I'm going after her"

"We need to find her"

"But we hav—"

"What matters more, a stupid homeroom register or your friend?"

"Fuck sake— what do we do?"

"Guys I can't find you— there's so many people right now"

"Sunghoon— wher—"

"I'm gonna go look for her"

"Where did Jungwon go?"

"He went straight after her as soon as she started leaving"

"Where do we go?"

"We should go back and make an excuse up to the homeroom teacher"

"Shit but—"

"Yoon, she'll be fine. One of them will find her." Ni-ki grabbed my wrist and led me to our homeroom through the crowd of students that were quickly trying to get back to their classrooms in time for the bell

There was a very obvious amount of people missing on our row, Ni-ki held onto my hand. To try and calm me down. How can I be calm in this kind of situation? If they walk in right now we're all fucking dead

"Jennifer Huh?" Our new homeroom teacher called out, looking around the room

"Uh- she's at the-...." I blurted out, without thinking of what to say

"She's at the infirmary" Ni-ki finished my sentence and I felt myself become less tense

"Lee Hayun?"

"She is also at the infirmary" Chae replied and the teacher shot us all a look before moving on

Shit here we go, how are we gonna play the next two off?

"Jay Park?"

"He's uhhhh" Heeseung began to say but then also realised how suspicious it would be to say 'at the infirmary' again

"At the infirmary?" The teacher rolled her eyes and just moved on

"Park sunghoon? Is he also at the infirmary?"

"No- um.." Sunoo abruptly answered, "he fell down the- down the stairs"

"Wouldn't he be at the infirmary if he fell down a whole flight of stairs?" The teacher snapped and Sunoo held his head down low

"No miss- please believe us we aren't joking" Heeseung pleaded

"Look we'll re-enact it for you" Jake added and he suddenly ushered me, Dae and Ni-ki to stand up and "act out how Sunghoon fell down the stairs"

Without letting the teacher protest we stood at the back of the classroom

"Okay so imagine I'm Sunghoon- and I suddenly tripped down the stairs" Jake then acted out walking and fake tripped, hitting into me, Dae and Ni-ki

We all crashed to the floor, groaning in the pain of the hard floor we all just crashed into

"Uh- thank you but I think I can imagine it in my head, what is your name again?" The teacher pointed at our seats, signalling for us to sit back down

"Sim Jake, miss" Jake mumbled

I can't tell if we made the situation better, or worse.
