As Chaerin wandered aimlessly, her footsteps echoing the confusion within her heart, she found herself consumed by a flood of memories she had long tried to drown down. Each step felt heavier than the last, burdened by the weight of regret and longing. Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed the ominous clouds gathering above until the first raindrops kissed her cheeks.

Unfazed by the sudden downpour, Chaerin stood in the midst of the storm, her tears mingling with the rain as she grappled with the ghosts of her past. "First Seonho, and now Sara?!" she cried out, feeling vulnerable.

Drenched to the bone, she made no move to seek shelter, feeling as though the storm mirrored the storm raging within her soul. Time seemed to stand still, a cruel reminder of the pain she had tried so hard to escape.

She suddenly noticed that the raindrops had ceased to fall upon her. Looking up, she saw an umbrella above her, shielding her from the storm. Her eyes traced the figure holding it, and despite the mask and hat obscuring his face, she knew instantly who it was.

It was Seungyeon.

In that moment, all of Chaerin's worries seemed to melt away as Seungyeon enveloped her in a warm and comforting embrace. His voice, though softened by the mask, was filled with genuine concern and empathy.

"Stay," he whispered softly, his words offering her a lifeline in the midst of her turmoil.

"I'm right here, I'll wait."

Seungyeon comforted her while holding her tightly, and didn't move at all which made her cry as she found peace and the warmth of his body that enveloped her. It was as if he knew exactly what she needed at that moment, and he gave it to her without hesitation. The rain continued to pour down around them, but they didn't care. They were lost in the comfort of each other's arms, and for that moment, nothing else in the world mattered.

Eventually, the rain stopped and the sky began to clear up, even though they had to let go of each other, Chaerin knew that she would never forget that moment of pure comfort and connection with Seungyeon.

As Chaerin slowly loosened her grip on Seungyeon, she couldn't help but feel grateful for his support. The air was thick with silence, but before it could become awkward, Seungyeon spoke up.

"Hey, are you hungry? I know this great place nearby, owned by my mom's friend!"

"Umm I'm okay" Chaerin hesitated, not wanting to be a burden, but her stomach made the decision for her. It growled loudly, causing Seungyeon to chuckle.

"Looks like that's a yes!" he said, taking her hand and leading her to the restaurant.

The restaurant's architecture was stunning, with a traditional and cultural vibe that made it feel as if they were in the royal era. The fragrance of different flowers filled the air, adding to the restaurant's beauty. As they walked in, they couldn't help but feel enchanted by the place's charm.
