What if today proves that love can heal us? Heal us from our trauma, reverse the defeat we have had in our lifetime and show us that peace can be rewarded to us. What if as Haymitch and Effie say their vows to one another they are being rewarded for all they have done for each other as they are joint together? What if they are being given happiness to heal after all the suffering? As they say I do and look into each others eyes I see two people once broken heal each other, no one could possibly deny their love for one another as they seal their vows with a kiss... What if this happiness will keep coming until eventually I don't have to ask myself what if?

Everyone claps as they walk happily down the isle. One of the bridesmaids comes over and guides Sophie along with them for the pictures. Sophie waves goodbye as she stumbles after her. I grin at Peeta who grins back. The ceremony was short but beautiful. I've never seen the two of them so happy. Everyone here knew that they were deeply in love. It was only years back that I couldn't possibly imagine the two of them ending up together. As people file out of their seats we walk down to where pictures are being taken. Haymitch and Effie are just finished taking one with Sophie when they spot us. Effie gestures us over and says
"Katniss! Peeta! Picture!"
I shake my head with a laugh but she gestures frantically so I have no choice but to give in. Peeta lifts Sophie into his arms and stands beside Haymitch as I stand beside Effie. After a few pictures are taken I talk to Effie as Peeta speaks with Haymitch. I say
"Congrats Effie! How does it feel to be an Abernathy?"
She smiles and says
"Brilliant! I'm overjoyed"
I tell her
"You look amazing!"
It's true. She does. I'd say everyone's jaws dropped when they saw her. Her dress is simple but beautiful. It's never something I would have expected someone who was from the capitol to wear.

Effie nods understandingly and gives me a quick hug before saying goodbye as she must go greet other guests. I don't get time to talk with Haymitch but I salute him with a grin of congrats and a nod which he returns. Peeta and I then walk over to Annie as she gets ready to bring Finn home. I kneel before Sophie which is a struggle with my dress and tell her
