Sky

The sky turns black,
And my voice is back,
The sun is gone,
Adiós, my friend.
Sweaty palms and a crooked smile,
I try to stay nice,
But the night is so young,
I cannot hold on,
My heart beats fast,
All night,
All day,
I've been waiting,
For this young night,
It's so quiet and peaceful,
I think I may cry,
"Try it," Says I "For it may be the last."
No,
Yes,
Torture once,
Torture twice.
For this night is young,
And forever it stays as it is,
Echoing it's rhythm,
Repeating it's beat,
I may loose myself tonight,
For the night is young.
Or maybe it was,
Until it grew old after being watched for many years.
